A: Dreams in Darkness

Bowser, after falling asleep, does not remember the exhaustion hitting, nor does he remember exactly what he was doing. All he understands is that now, he is somewhere new. "Great," he says, "This just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?"

B: Plague

The shadow zombies Bowser sees do not take the form of humans, but those of Shy Guys, Koopa Troopas, and Goombas. However, the colors Shy Guys' robes are faded and covered in dirt and soot, and the face holes in their masks seem to leak black paint. The shadow Koopas' scales are also far paler than those normal Koopas, and their shells are either black, purple, or red. The Goombas and Koopas both have the orange, empty, glowing eyes that any of the plague shadows have, though the Koopas' eyes are partially covered by shades, and they where the same kinds of armbands and collar that Bowser wears.

As soon as Bowser hears the horn he puts up his claws and takes a fighting stance. When the creatures appear, the word "Showtime" is growled. Though he is surrounded, he has no doubt he will defeat these creatures. He fears for what these creatures mean for the Koopa Troop, for what they mean for his home, but not for his own safety.

C: The Heart

After fighting his way to the deepest level, Bowser finally reaches the Heart. "You think this is it?" Bowser asks, to whoever has also made it to the chamber, "the thing that put us all here? It's got a kind of final boss vibe." That is, at least, Bowser's way of describing the dread it causes.

D: Wild Card
