Merlin's been spending much of his time lately with his garden, so it's quite possible for the newer arrivals to have missed meeting him entirely. Not that Merlin particularly cares either way.

But that's something to consider at another time, there's apparently more of that pesky nightmare's tricks to deal with right now. Fortunately, his flowers aren't Merlin's only trick: he mutters something, casting a spell that temporarily increases offensive power as well as replenishing a moderate surge of magical energy to all allies present.

There's doubtless more where that came from, too, but one thing at a time, and that first spell taken care of, Merlin has a question to answer:

"Merlin."
