"Well, see it this way," Indigo gets out between tugs, slowly but steadily pulling the chain free. "If it ain't breakin' even with all this, I bet that fluffy critter won't be able to break out of it either." They've pulled enough out to know that it's definitely long enough for their purposes, at least; not that a shorter chain is useless, but just not what they're looking for right now.
