For the most part, other than occasionally approaching someone he thinks might have interesting information, Merlin seems to be content simply sitting back in some corner and observing without participating. Which is actually rather odd, if someone knew him well enough, given his typically penchant for stirring up mischief for his own whims and purposes. Lucky for him there's nobody around who knows him that well, huh?

Still, there's something else about him that might seem off. While before he for the most part probably came across as cheerful and friendly, almost obnoxiously so, his attitude now seems much more subdued. Almost detached. Should someone approach him, he'll merely raise an eyebrow, giving an almost disinterested "Yes?"

Perhaps a little odd, that, to anyone who'd interacted with him much early on. Go figure!
