((ooc: this log is gonna be used for a few practice sessions, as well as a practice game and other such things! Iwaizumi will be sharing his knowledge with everyone and acting as a coach of sorts until the practice game, so feel free to use the TLs to interact with him, or make your own TLs under the sections to start your own threads with your teammates or others participating! also, if you are not a player but want to be in the audience or are playing another role, feel free to make TLs reflecting that! everyone is welcome (walk/ins included!) [Viridi's glib tone suddenly becomes more composed as all trace of humor vanishes. Her words are precise, her manner solemn.]

I'll give you a chance.

If you can say that the materials that compose you are not torn from the planet, harvested from virgin terrain razed for the purpose of becoming a mine, produced in a factory spewing pollutants, and put to use for people living in totally unsustainable 'cities', then we can have a sleepover and paint each other's nails. Tell me you're made in a way that doesn't harm me at all.

I'd be frankly overjoyed.

And do not say none of that is your fault. If your actual existence relies on hurting my existence, then it's weirdly still going to be upsetting for me.

Geth harvested materials from asteroids, were manufactured aboard space stations, and served only ourselves. We had existed in this manner since gaining freedom from our Creators.

(They ... actually can say that. Sort of. They don't take from places inhabited by biological life.

...They're definitely not interested in friendship, though.)

[Her eyes narrow as she leans in closer.]

You know I have mystical divine truth telling abilities, right?

but she does hold eye contact for uncomfortably long (with... the orb thing?) before she sits back upright]

Now we can... do exactly what I proposed in the first place and not bother each other and watch this volleyball game?

(They chatter, unimpressed.

It's 100% true, so her saying that just makes them doubt that she has the ability: if she did she'd know their words were true.)

We do not do this for you.

(And they'll just turn away and ignore her in favor of the game ... while sitting right there.

[Viridi pulls out some sort of beverage and slurps loudly from a straw.

Not awkward at all!

'Making friends is my passion,' that's her life mantra.]

(They pull out some kind of snack from their backpack and begin tossing pieces into their chesthole.

They can spitefully hang around here just because she wants them to leave all day: they have infinite patience, and also their friends are here playing. Team 2 is destined to lose in the end, but it's got most of their friends on it, and they absolutely make happy chattering noises whenever it's doing well.)

[She doesn't really care. Viridi is so self-absorbed that it's apparent she's forgotten Legion exists within about five minutes.

'Staying away' really just means... 'let's not talk.']

(And well, they're more friend absorbed than self absorbed, but it comes out to basically the same result.

So they can just ignore each other in peace until Legion becomes so uninterested in sticking around just to antagonize someone they get up and leave of their own accord.)
