We hereby start the Void Calendar! All over the Void since yesterday, several handwritten notes have been taped or stapled to the Void's most populated areas in the hopes to drive the people to the popular bar/cafe. Heavenly Blanc's exterior has been protected from any upcoming storms by a large awning, and more tables and chairs have been temporarily set to settle any issues of overcrowding on the inside. Upon entering, one will be able greeted by the aroma of curry, although the spices vary from pot to pot, and coffee and alcohol will be served throughout the evening.

Within the interior of the bar, a small space has been divided and cleared out -- next to the jukebox. There, one will find a few microphones resting on their stands, waiting for whoever is brave enough to sing on them to whatever is playing in Heavenly Blanc when the storm hits. Last, but not least, a whiteboard has been visibly placed next to the entrance. It reads: "Names of the Months", and you may either write your own or add sticks to vote on your favorites.

[ Oh, are we drawing cats now? Yesssss. A little later Turing added another post-it drawing next to Ann's, even though pen and paper wasn't their usual medium. ]

[ Ann's so amused right now. Turing has been kind enough to offer up another cat, and so, in turn, she must do the same: ]

[ Aww! They very much approved of the chonky cat. As a side note, "chonky" was one of the colloquialisms they did know, thanks to how many cat videos they had seen on the mesh.

Turing responded with one of their own (though, uh, without the dead mouse part). How could they let the chain of cat drawings end there, after all? ]

[Meanwhile, Haru is seeing all the cat pictures and had to draw a picture of her own.

With that, her drawing of a cat was posted right next to them saying "How cute all your cat pictures are!"]

[Well, he’s a little buzzed by now. Why not join in with his superb art skills? Iwa’s contribution comes shortly after Haru’s.]

[ A few hours later, another contribution is made to poor Seto's area of the board. One that isn't a cute cat, no. At this point, Ann's intoxicated, and has taken it upon herself to draw something that is far more near and dear to her beloved's heart than a mere cat.

Behold, the mighty BLUE EYES WHITE DRAGON!!!: ]

[And all Haru could do was just see the picture before her.

In response she had to write "Are you sure that is appropriate?" because Ann worked hard on it!]

[Seeing the response drew a smirk to his lips.

"Yes, there's no Blue-Eyes White Cat in duel monsters." Yet. He totally mistook that rounded tail to be more feline in nature, that or all the previous cats before just made him assume it would be in that vein.]

[ "It was a dragon, but Seto's is a billion times better!! THIS is a cat, his name is Mona and I miss him a lot." Ignore how she drew Mona with his eyes going different ways though, okay... ]

[Blue watches these goings on, humming to himself over his drink....]

[Ah, why not!? He grabs a napkin and doodles a little something behind the bar, and eventually he trots over and adds his own contribution to this mess:]



[Turning to Iwa as he glances over his doodle, he notes the different and, well, more menacing appearance of his creature, with some curiosity.]

That one's kinda different from the others, too...

It’sa kaiju. [He points to it.] See?

Kaiju cat.

[He is quite drunk.]

Oh, Kaijucat, is that what they're called where y'come from?

[Blue asks, in perfectly blissful ignorance. He's just a naive lad, Iwa. He doesn't know.]

[Likewise, he points to the weird lumpy cat dumpling he's doodled on the board.] The species in my home region is called Meowth, but there's different ones in other regions, too. Like Skitty, or Espurr!

[Hmmmm? Iwa is inclined to say “no, you dumb ass” - he almost does, but actually...this could be hilarious (at least in his currently drunken state).

[He gives a decisive nod.]

Yep. Kaijucat. They’re huge too. And mean. They’ll kill you if you’re not careful even.

[The cruelty! And look at Blue, cheerful, eagerly nodding along, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world!]

Oh, that sounds like a lot of Pokémon. [Wait, should that be concerning--] I bet they're really strong! Reminds me of my Tyranitar! [Should that be concerning!?]

[Speaking of, Blue blinks--] Oh yeah, you seem pretty into big, tough-looking monsters, huh? Do you got a Kaijucat of your own?

[Tyranitar...Iwaizumi physically restrains his pupils from turning into big pink hearts. He must maintain his steeled expression and continue the flow of bullshit for as long as possible. He lets out a pshhhh.]

Are you kidding me? You can’t train these things. They’re as big as a building! Tokyo Tower even!

Huh? Like a Dynamax...? Haha, you should tell Raihan about them, then. He'd probably get a kick outta that!

[If Blue only knew about Gigantimax Meowth...... He looks briefly thoughtful before returning to empty brain.]

That doesn't sound untrainable to me, though! A natural trainer like me would probably manage just fine.

[Blue smugly sips at his drink, chin tilted.]

Yeah right. [Why does he sound angry over something entirely fictional? He stubbornly swigs from his own glass.] That thing would eat you up in one gulp. They’re feral. They destroy whole cities where I’m from!

One even ate my brother.

[He doesn’t have a brother anymore.]

So do Gyarados, [Blue points out with a raised eyebrow and zero intimidation. He shrugs, sipping his own drink.]

[He frowns over his cup, though, as Iwaizumi brings out the emotional guns. Maybe he's getting an inkling that something isn't quite right, here??]

[...hmm.]

Um, are you ...okay? [Squint. Would he be so casual about this...?]

[The whole facade may slip altogether when his mouth drops open and he says:]

They can? But yours is so—-

[Wait, wait. He clears his throat.]

I’m fine. Didn’t you hear what I said? It’s my brother you should be worried about.

My Gyarados is a good boy! [Blue gushes, rosy with good cheer (and alcohol, lots of alcohol); so much so that maybe he doesn't entirely notice that Iwaizumi's facade slips, but maybe it doesn't matter.]

Um.... But, I mean.... Are you okay about talking about something like that...? [His cheeriness turns soft and concerned, brows pinching.] That's not really-- I mean, it's kind of a hard thing to talk about, right...? Losing family...

[Is this territory you want to enter, Iwa.]
