We hereby start the Void Calendar! All over the Void since yesterday, several handwritten notes have been taped or stapled to the Void's most populated areas in the hopes to drive the people to the popular bar/cafe. Heavenly Blanc's exterior has been protected from any upcoming storms by a large awning, and more tables and chairs have been temporarily set to settle any issues of overcrowding on the inside. Upon entering, one will be able greeted by the aroma of curry, although the spices vary from pot to pot, and coffee and alcohol will be served throughout the evening.

Within the interior of the bar, a small space has been divided and cleared out -- next to the jukebox. There, one will find a few microphones resting on their stands, waiting for whoever is brave enough to sing on them to whatever is playing in Heavenly Blanc when the storm hits. Last, but not least, a whiteboard has been visibly placed next to the entrance. It reads: "Names of the Months", and you may either write your own or add sticks to vote on your favorites.

[ yeah, no, somehow izumi should've expected all that. he was a fool to think that this party wasn't going to build up into something stupid - but that's just how leo rolls. and this kind of unexpected expectedness feels like things are back to normal again, for the most part.

izumi was about to open his mouth to retort to leo's crazy ideas again, as per the norm, but leo just had to add more to it which made izumi pause in his tracks for a moment before he recomposes himself. ]

I want to make one thing clear, though: I have no plans leaving Knights at all. We already talked about this before we graduated, remember? That hasn't changed.

So if this is just some temporary unit thing like Traumerei, fine. But we'll see if they can survive my training regimen in the coming new year, fufu.

... the way that simple recomposed "i know" had come out, though... where sena's noble loyalty to knights makes him smile in a way that says yeah, of course -- that one had squeezed his heart a little and delayed his response. it's not that he thinks he'd forget -- izumi isn't the shithead constantly forgetting things -- but it's more like... leo clumsily thinking he'd be the only one to pick up on that?

for the umpteenth time: stupid.

he gives himself another half-moment before he reaches into the pockets of his hoodie, taking out crumpled sheets like the ones he'd given naru. these get shoved gently against izumi's chest, leo's smile toeing the line between cryptic and playful. ]

... It's fine to sing for it if it's temporary, right? This one was always gonna be that -- it's not Knights.

he moves to seat atop a table to listen instead. every note hangs in the air as izumi sings it, different than how he imagined them. not in a bad way -- he's making adjustments as things go already, legs swinging in time to the beat; it's a fitting distraction from the fact that parts of him want to join in terribly. impulse control is maybe a Thing when professionalism and pride play into it. yes, he's a moron? not enough of a moron to crash in on izumi sena's stage.

he's enough of a moron to wait for the lull as izumi's voice dies down (the song wonderfully completely rearranged in his head, thanks, it really feels like its been too long since he's composed like this--) to state the obvious: ]

he reaches the top of the staircase, finding little john sleeping by herself. oh, to scoop this fat little thing into his arms, which izumi will do right now. ]

[ he smiles a rare one as little john lets out a meow in greeting. finally he could relax in this empty stairwell, just listening in on the mayhem below. little john curls up onto his lap and izumi'll do her one and lifts her in his arms, letting her rest her head on his shoulder like a baby.

this is what leo will see upon ascending up the stairs, this heartwarming reunion between two cats. don't disturb them if u don't want your eyes scratched out leo-kun ok ]
