Individuality is impossible for the Geth. We are an anomaly.
(And even then, they're a group of over a thousand programs. More like a collective in miniature than a true individual.)
We are aware of few other species who share thoughts in this manner.
This occurrence is an opportunity to gain greater understanding of naturally individualistic species.
