Lost and Found
Who: Bowser Koopa and You (featuring a Brushboy, Fluffy Mimic, and Piranha Stubby)
What: Bowser trying to find the creatures he caught in Poké Balls that left during the period in which Bowser didn’t exist. Other things may also occur.
Where: Various different places
When: from January 20th to the end of the month
I: Bowser | Back from the Dead
(Merlaut Apartments)
When Bowser reappears, he does not initially realise that he’s been gone. His apartment has not changed since he left it, and walls are still covered in paper nailed to them showing collected data and theories and potential names for the world. The things outside the window are different now, which is a surprise, but the Koopa initially just attributes that to new scenery imprints, which he’ll investigate later.
What causes him to realise that something important has happened is that the three Poké Balls on his desk are open and the creatures they house are nowhere in sight. He ends up making some crude sketches of them, though they aren’t that useful considering they look like any other version of those creatures, except that the Brushboy’s paint is black and the Mimic and Stubby are painted with his emblem (by the Brushboy.) They do, however, give the names of the creatures; the Brushboy is Jet Black, the Fluffy Mimic is Platoon, and the Piranha Stubby is Robopot.
Eventually, Bowser sets out to place these missing posters of sorts around the Merlaut lobby. One might consider this odd, considering Bowser disappeared over a month ago.
II: Jet Black | Art Critic
(Mementos)
Bowser stands at a work of graffiti at the wall. Bowser can tell, simply by the color and what he understands about the style, that this is the work of Jet Black, the first creature he caught in a Poké Ball. All the graffiti he finds surrounds one of Mementos’s wounds, depicting the pain felt by the tunnels.
What the paintings mean don’t mean as much to Bowser as where they lead. Still, the two things could be related, so when he sees someone else walking through the tunnels, he speaks to them. “You know anything about art?”
III: Platoon | Tracker
(Mount Silver)
The Koopa King follows a set of tracks through the caverns. They belong to a Fluffy Mimic, and Bowser believes they’ll eventually lead him to Platoon, which is the name he’s given to the Fluffy Mimic that Legion helped him catch. He’s been following the tracks for some time, in silence. Eventually, a single quiet disturbance startles him, and he suddenly looks in its direction. "Who's there?"
IV: Robopot | Robotanist
(Takoba Beach)
On Takoba Beach, Bowser shows the missing poster depicting the Piranha Stubby to a group of other Piranha Stubbies, all of whom seem very uninterested in helping him. Eventually, the group of Piranha Stubbies simply leaves, and Bowser crumples up his poster and walks away. However, seeing another person, he quickly uncrumples the paper, showing it to them instead, saying, “Hey! You! Have you seen this Piranha Stubby?”
