Not literally at least? [The sass. It's not said maliciously. As far as anyone knows, Seto "Screw the Rules" Kaiba got that permit however he wanted. But if it's any consolation Ann, things like "rules" or "logic" don't seem to have much of a place in Domino when it suits the plot.]
Yeah, we were in the same year, and our school wasn't exactly fancy or prestigious. Though I didn't see him come back all that much after the first while. [Actually, did he come back at all? Then again, Yugi meandered off to play card games on an island, and then card games in a city that Kaiba sort of founded, and then card games in America, and then card games in Egypt... yeah, Yugi didn't go to school much either. See: "rules" and "logic" not applying to Domino. Though, to be fair, he did go back to attending school regularly after the Egypt shenanigans.] It doesn't really surprise me though. He's already really accomplished and smart, and I can't imagine running a corporation on top of trying to get through high school...
[Are there embarrassing stories? There are stories Kaiba would find embarrassing, but that's not quite the same thing. Give him time to think though and Yugi should be able to think of something that's a painless, guilt-free embarrassing story for them to bond over. Maybe over some cookie wager assistance.]
I know we're, you know, here, but I honestly can't even imagine that. I've always lived with Grandpa, and we live where he works so... he's always around. [Yugi is, in fact, the senpai here, because:] Oh, we are then! I just turned eighteen. [Have fun having half a foot on your senpai, Ann.]
Ah, that sounds... oddly specific...[Those war flashbacks come full circle, I see.] But the rest of it sounds pretty good! Chalk flinging aside, it sounds like you have a handle on it.
