[As it so happened, Ann managed to find a time when Seto was actually home since she hadn't been the only one searching all of this wasteland for someone. He'd known that the disappearance of her loser-friends had troubled her deeply, but her subsequent absence had bothered him more. Sure, he genuinely had liked maybe... one or... two of her friends? Er, make that one? Maybe? Cough, but he wasn't all that torn up about the idea that they returned home. So when he heard her voice on the other side of the door, there was a slight delay, before he yanked it open testing it's hinges. He wanted to scold her, the words burning to be expelled from his lips but seeing her there he just knit his eyebrows tightly and silently pulled her into a crushing embrace.
With one hand to her waist, and the other to the back of her neck he pulled her in close resting his head on top of hers. He quietly but tersely uttered a single word]
