A) (The sensation hits them like a charging Krogan.
They'd been collecting beach garbage and storing it in their chesthole when it happens: a sudden emptiness inside them and a sudden foulness overwhelming their sensory input.
Their programs don't know what to make of it, or how to process it. Taste?
They make a vaguely distressed series of chattering noises and double over while clutching at their chesthole, almost as if in pain.
They have tasted before, but that was while trapped in an organic platform. Now they taste as a Geth.
This is not supposed to be possible.)
B) (They are aware that cake is popular among organics--they used to gift it to important allies. It stands to reason that the taste will be more palatable than that of garbage, and so they come to the Lemon Cello church to sample it.
They know nothing about flavors, and so they simply select one they like the look of--a lemon cake, like most of the others--and carefully place it inside their chesthole.
Like with the garbage before, the cake disappears, leaving their chesthole empty. This time, however, the taste is ... pleasant. They take a moment to just stand there and savor the sensation until it fades.
Is this what they had given their allies on Enso?
They remember Aziraphale, Drifter, and Faust-Doctor being pleased to receive such gifts. Now they begin to understand why.
They examine the remaining desert selection, as though intending to select another for consumption, but pause.
Their allies are not here.
The Drifter did not arrive here. Aziraphale disappeared shortly before their battle with the Historian. Faust-Doctor...
Even before they were taken from Enso, Faust doctor had been missing for some time. He is gone.
If one were to enter the church at this moment they would find them there, staring at the cakes as though deeply distressed by them.)
C) (Legion themselves had once pointed out that just because entities shared the quality of being synthetic did not mean they were allies, but with the destruction of the Geth at the hands of organics, their perspective had shifted.
The piranha stubbies were not allies, but they were no different from any other animal. The organics do not see it this way: the mechanical life may need additional protection from them.
The piranha stubbies do not need assistance acquiring food, but when Legion comes across a group of them, they find themselves compelled to toss bits of cake and mushroom to them--while safely perched atop a pile of garbage so they themselves are safe from being devoured.
It's kind of like an old lady feeding pigeons in the park, except they're a big machine, and the "pigeons" are all smaller machines, and also really aggressive.)
D) (...
Is that?
Legion bursts into a run, shouting greetings in Geth to what appears to be another one of their people-
And the beast springs its trap, erupting from its hiding spot in the trees to attack Legion with its horns!)
