If nothing else, Turing would be all too happy to act as a guide to the exit. They still weren't very sure about this in general, but that was no reason not to help!

Turing didn't doubt that there were sources of tinder and flint around, but those weren't the only ways to start a fire. Not only that, but knowing the method was useful for gauging how much they should be worrying.
