[There were only a few things he clung to, like the name Kaiba- but it was advantageous to do so. His old surname had long since been lost to obscurity so there could be no doubt that he was the rightful heir to the Kaiba Corporation. Beyond that- he had no qualms about rebranding, redirecting the companies goals, and burying anything that had anything to do with the former president. The other thing he clung to was his bitterness towards those who wronged him and his desire to show them up in every way possible. That was his unhealthy obsession. He saw no benefit to her dependence on the bridge, but he could recognize the inability to move past it.
