Merlin is still of the opinion the fellow he spoke to about the matter was far too shortsighted, but that's a whole other issue. As he talks though, he loosens his hold on the creature, which takes the opportunity to squirm loose... and then clamber up Merlin's arm to dive into his hood. The mage himself pays it no mind.
