it’s an offer leo would’ve made, perhaps… though much less gently, more clumsily, and perhaps less directly… even then, he doesn’t quite expect it. his petting slows with the hand over his wrist, not bothering to hide the slight surprise that shows up on his face.

despite how openly he speaks, and how friendly he is, leo tsukinaga can get terribly lonely easily. and, maybe, he’s unused to finding open friendship like this in places where he looks for it, though that has improved recently.
