Anyway, I wanted to ask you if the thing with the horns and the glowing eyes and the drool over there is your pet.

[He sits up, pulling the chicken nug into one arm as he draws one of his daggers with the other.]

And how can you not be a person? I mean, not being human is one thing, but personhood is like... 'sentient intelligent being.'

[He will leave along with her, keeping an eye over his shoulder to make sure that creature won't take their retreating backs as an invitation to chase them. Some of the wildlife will leave you alone if you leave them alone, but new ones keep showing up and he can't read them, so it's hard to tell.]

[He's had this kind of discussion enough times, it's finally sinking in that just telling people he's a spirit is less confusing than trying to explain it his own way.]
