Still, from a strategic stand-point the winged giraffes didn't have much in the way of protection from the other monsters, outside of their size. They might have wings but they didn't seem capable of sustained flight, if indeed.. they flew at all.]

Perhaps they can be tamed, or even reasoned with, if they possess networking capabilities among themselves like other machines.)

[Whether there's a real connection beyond that is something that remains to be seen. He's met one of those horribly vicious creatures before and had to be rescued but let's not get into that.]
