What: this, that, and the other

1. home (merlaut apartments, beach)
[ In some ways, the timing was fortuitous. With sleep being a thing once more, she needs a place for it that isn't the floor of her senpais' apartments - and it just so happens that Akechi, having woken up again, has decided to make his temporary stay with Ren a more permanent one. It's for that reason that her first "day" is spent going back and forth from the apartment, finding whatever she can on the beach to try and make it more suited to her preferences, rather than the completely untouched look the detective had seemed to be going for.
By the end of her day, she'll have a much better setup in place: a wardrobe hung with a few of the different-colored uniforms from the academy mall, some usable pots, pans and other cooking paraphernalia in the kitchen, some vases with flowers, and a few other pieces of furniture and decorative pieces here and there. But if you find her anytime between the beginning of it and the end, whether at the apartment proper or the beach or on her way back and forth, she'll likely be carrying pieces back and forth, or perhaps standing in one spot trying to figure out what exactly she wants to do next...
Either way, she'll be glad of any help you have to offer, whether you're a friend, acquaintance, or complete stranger! ]
2. exploratory (mementos)
[ Mementos didn't exist in the Void before their nightmare. That's what she's been told, anyway. But they're here now, with the one major difference that going down into them no longer seems to transform her into Violet, no longer brings Ella further past the surface of her soul than where she already sits and whispers. Neither though are there Shadows haunting its corridors anymore - the tunnels are uncomfortably silent, apart from the thundering pulsing of a heartbeat - or any floors deeper than the first.
Still, as she moves through the maze, Yoshizawa keeps her rapier in the tight grip of a fist, red eyes scanning the area ahead of her as if she's waiting for something to change. This isn't the Metaverse anymore, and so her gun will be useless, nothing more than a toy, but a sword is a sword no matter which way you look at it.
If something emerges from the shadowy light ahead, she's ready. ]
3. apprenticeship (heavenly blanc)
(with ren)
[ Outside of her skills as a gymnast, outside of taking down Shadows in the Metaverse, there's one thing Yoshizawa is really, really good at doing: cooking. As such, she figures it's only natural for her to ask Ren if she can help him out in Heavenly Blanc from time to time.
(Plus, after the strangeness she witnessed in the nightmare, she's not entirely sure she's keen on leaving him alone with Akechi too often. Even if they do live together.)
Ren teaches her how to brew coffee, too; she's not great yet, not on her senpai's level, but she can at least make something that tastes decent enough that people don't wince when they taste it. It's a good start for her, and gives her something to do besides hanging around in places that seem like home but aren't, with no purpose besides existing.
Even if right now about the only stuff she can manage to make involves a LOT of meat and mushroom... Regardless of anything, she's comfortable in a kitchen, so visitors will find her with a smile on her face and a pep in her step! ]
4. wildcard
[ want to do something but don't like any of the prompts here? you can hit me up atdenouements if you want, or just post something here! as new as Yoshizawa is, I welcome any kind of CR for her! ]

That explains why she was not in her best shape once they've met deep in Mementos, upon Akechi's death. He can only imagine for now, but with her reactions and the pain weighing her voice, she must have seen something that imprinted itself in her brain, traumatizing and weakening.)
So many of me?

her own voice screamingthe horror she felt upon seeing what the cognitive Akechi was doing to her senpai, over and over and over.Another deep breath, and Yoshizawa nods. ]
The cognitive Akechi-san, he was... murdering cognitions of you, Senpai. ...L-Lots of them.
spoilies
(Shit. She doesn't know about it, does she? The hand on her back caresses it, circular motions as to comfort before he taps twice on the table, an attempt to ground himself. He owes her an explanation, to the very least.)
Akechi has tried to kill me before and he failed. (A terrible opener, but Ren doesn't know how to be less than honest, to dance around the subject when it stares them in the face.
Most people wouldn't forgive something like that so easily. Ren, on the other hand, has lived this event behind Akechi's eyes, melding it to his own memory of just sitting there unharmed, tasting victory. To Ren, the assassination was merely a means to an end when it came to reaching his goal. Ren can't support it, but he can understand it. Akechi has changed since then, not only from what Ren observed in the Engine Room of Shido's Palace but each and every day that they spend together.
Akechi tries to be better and often succeeds, and to him, that's much more important than reaching for the past.)
He was scared of hurting me. (And nothing with Akechi is mild.) That was his nightmare.
expands this to MAJOR royal spoilies.
No one has told her in quite so many words, but... Ren's news-casted "suicide", the Phantom Thieves' open distrust of Akechi, even - although she knows Ren himself doesn't have the memory of this - her own discomfort over the truth of Akechi's bloodlust, when the three of them first set foot in Dr. Maruki's Palace. Just those three things add up to a picture that even she can understand. And so she nods, because it makes senseβ
βand maybe because she can understand Akechi-san's feelings now, just a little. ]
He's- He's afraid because there's a part of him that wanted you to die before, but... but he's in love with you now. He doesn't want to hurt you, s-so he's scared of the part of him that did. Is that right, Senpai?
[ And she knows, from first-hand experience, how the nightmare twisted their regrets, their fears. She can still hear Kasumi's voice, dripping with rotted sweetness... ]

He doesn't even know what to say, so he honestly just looks a little stupid for a second with his mouth open, but no sound coming out. Truth be told, both Akechi and Ren had feelings even before the attempted assassination, but he keeps that information to himself. It's all very complicated, and regardless of how much talking they've done, it seems like it will take a while for them to heal from all that they've been through, if the nightmare is any indication. Before he speaks, there's a sigh and a nod.)
Something like that. (Because it runs deeper. It's not just his fear of hurting Ren, it was the false conviction that's all he knows to do. It's the distress of opening up.) I'm sorry you had to witness it.

It's okay, Senpai. We all went through a lot, didn't we?
[ They could keep talking about it, she could even tell him about seeing Kasumi down there. But... ]
You said you remember until Christmas? I know I told you what happened with me, but... [ But there's still a lot he doesn't know. Maybe she can explain, can make all this easier somehow. ]

(And that means himself too.
There are things he knows. He knows Akechi is dead, for one. Akechi might have lied to him about that, but the truth came in a ripping headache and the memory of how it feels to pass assaulting his brain prior to Sumi's arrival. There's a promise hanging between them, that if they go home, Ren will follow through with taking Maruki down, regardless of what that means for the Akechi - even when both know it means death will once again knock on their door.
He knows about tiny bits of the fake reality Maruki built, but there must be something big that she reckons he doesn't know if she's still dancing around it.)
Sumire. What is on your mind?
no subject
We all fought Dr. Maruki together. The Phantom Thieves, and Akechi-san, and me too. It's what we decided we wanted, even though it meant the reality he created was gone. He, um. He granted all of our wishes.
[ And they chose to walk away from them. ]
But it wasn't real. So we fought him and... it went back to normal. You, um, you went to jail, and Futaba-senpai's mom and Okumura-senpai's dad and Kasumi were all gone. And, um. Akechi-san too.
[ Her gaze drops. She didn't know at the time why Akechi was brought back along with the other dead, but knowing what she knows now? She can kind of guess. ]
I'm sorry, Senpai.
no subject
(And that in itself felt dirty. Just like that, getting rid of what gave him so much pain but also so much growth. He listens and so far, nothing he wasn't expecting. He was to go to jail, and if Akechi didn't step up to go in his place, he sure proceeded with his plan.
Tell nobody, just do it. It was enough. Ren gently caresses Sumi's back, as to comfort, and he nods with a quiet, sorrowful sigh.)
I know. (They have already had several arguments about this.) I'm sorry too.
