[All things considered, Haru had expected this world to be more chaotic. Granted, after everything she gone through, a change in scenery wasn't a bad thing. As she wandered around the lobby, there were so many thoughts running through her mind. How much longer was she staying here for? What was happening in her world right now? What about her other friends? She wasn't sure but she knew thinking such things wouldn't do her any good.

With a heavy sigh, she figured she might as well introduce herself to anyone else around here.]

Um, excuse me? I know this is an odd request but do you know where I can buy fertilizer?

The Heavenly Blanc Bar & Café

[It was odd how comfortable she felt in this café. There was always something about the smell of coffee and the atmosphere that always calmed her down. And yet, this was also different from the café she knew back home. The addition of a jukebox and a pinball machine was a nice touch.

Feeling curious, she made her way to the pinball machine. As she stared at the strange equipment, it was certainly nostalgic to see these as she played one when she was younger.

Should anyone look by, they could see the determined look on Haru's face even as she continues to lose!]

C. Aoba Shibumenosaki Underground Academy - Gymnasium

[As Haru looked at the gym equipment, she couldn't help but be impressed. To think, there was such variety in this school! She never thought she would be allowed to try them with her father around! It wasn't becoming of an heiress to attempt to lift such heavy weights or even try the treadmill.

Hoping no one would be around, she just had to lift one the heavier weights. If she could lift heavy bags of fertilizer, a 40 pound weight should be nothing right?]

You can do this, you must try! [She said to herself before attempting to lift it!]

(Ren has been here for long enough to have these thoughts calm down and not hijack his mind much, but he gets it if she is anxious and would like to get her mind off things.

He simply shakes his head.)

I don't think they need it. (Because really, his own plants are alive and kicking and he does the bare minimum. They never seemed to need more than that. There might be somewhere Haru might like to see, though.)

We do have a flower shop.

[bazooker]

[When she saw her friend, there was a sense of relief. If there was someone whom she could count on, it was Ren.]

How perfect! I was hoping if I could plant some vegetables here. If they do not need it, it makes things much easier!

[She said with a giggle] Mind if you show me where this flower shop is?

[forethinking]

We can try, but I'm not sure anything will grow.

(Has this been tried yet? All Ren does is to move the already existing flowers around. Well, the Void doesn't work as one would expect. He gestures with his head so they can get moving.)

It's inside a church. (He works there and he's sure that if he asks Aerith, Haru could as well.)

A flower shop inside a church? How interesting, it provides a scene where one feels calm and tranquil with the flowers!

[Then again, the idea of selling flowers inside a church wasn't too far of a stretch.]

I can't wait to see it, it seems like it would be lovely.

[forethinking]

There's a florist there as well.

(He barely pays attention to the way they need to go - it's automatic at this point. Several times, he leaves his shift at the bar to go to the church. Here is more work, but there is just the scene Haru envisages. He likes it.)

You two will get along, I'm sure.

[bazooker]

The two of us? I'm assuming you mean the florist?

[She said as she followed Ren toward the church. She sure hoped they would get along, the last thing she wanted was to annoy someone who could help her plant some vegetables!]

[forethinking]

That's right.

(And after working with Aerith for a while, he just knows this will be good for the girls. They have similar personalities, after all. He opens the door for the church so that the girl may go in first.)

I work here when I am not at Heavenly Blanc.

[bazooker]

Then I hope so and especially if you know them!

[Even though she just got here, she really didn't want to make anyone annoyed with her!]

I'm trusting your judgement if you think we will get along?

I'm certain.

(There is no way Haru would make anyone annoyed with her ever. The first thing he shows is the display of the cakes, gesturing with his head so that she can get closer.)

[Before she could say anything else, she eventually found herself staring at the cakes. With a gasp, she looked back at him]

Yes, I would but I don't have any money with me. I can't have it without paying!

[Please don't tell her Ren is going to.]

[forethinking]

There's no money here.

(Welcome to the peasant, every day lifestyle, Haru! Money hasn't been invented and honestly? The Void itself restocks the cakes, from what he could tell.)

We can go ahead.

Wait, what? How is that possible? How are we suppose get cake without it?

[Not that Haru was complaining but coming from a rich background? How was there no money here??]

A-Are you sure? I do not wish to take something if we can't do something in return!

[forethinking]

(Ren works here, so without much hesitation, he just takes a plate, a fork and a piece of the cake he knows Haru would like the most.

He hands it to her, a smile when he does so.)

People work because they want to, not for compensation.

(Him specially.)

[bazooker]

[Did he just take the plate of cake without asking so casually? For a moment, Haru just stood there in awe at the act before regaining her composure]

T-Thank you, it's surprising to hear how everything is for free. To think that there is a world that exists where people are working in such favorable conditions.

[A pause] What about you? You should get one too, Ren-kun! It wouldn't be fair if you didn't get anything.

[forethinking]

(He wants to laugh - not maliciously, but because Haru is just adorable in her confusion.

To the question, he just shakes his head.)

They're too sweet for me.

(Everytime he tries to eat some cake, Aerith has to finish it. It's an assault to his tastebuds!)

[bazooker]

Then I need to get you something, it wouldn't be fair if you got nothing in return!

[This was so strange. How was she suppose to order something without giving any money in return? Looking around, she eventually comes up with something!]

Ah, how about macaroons or egg tarts? I don't know if they have those here but I don't think they would be that sweet?

[forethinking]

You enjoying it is enough for me, Haru-chan.

(Don't worry about him! This hangout is for her, mainly, so he's not even thinking about himself in the slightest.

... But then again, when is he, really?)

[bazooker]

[But Ren! Haru can't stand by and do nothing! That being said, as she took the plate of cake, she quickly put in on a nearby table. Looking at the menu, she just had to get him something.]

Excuse me, would it be possible to get some flan?

[She's not taking no for an answer and especially when it comes to you!!]

[forethinking]

(The flan is taken out of the display by... Ren himself, because he thought the order was for her.

There's no indication that it's for him, after all, and he is ready to hand it to her.)

[bazooker]

[Once the order was set, she immediately took the plate and gave it to him]

Now there. We both can have a desert we can enjoy!

[Because she's still making him eat something!]

(Fine, but only because it will make her happy.

There's not many places to sit, so Ren gestures outside so that they can eat under the weird sky the Void has going on.)

[bazooker]

[Sorry Ren, she’s not going to make you sit and do nothing! As she followed him outside, she sat at a nearby table before watching do the same]

Tell me, Ren-kun, how have you been? You said you’ve been here for quite sometime.

[forethinking]

It's been turbulent.

(He hasn't told her in detail - the memory swapping, the nightmare... He just mentioned briefly, and perhaps it's the time to tell her properly.)

This place can be dangerous.

[She said before tilting her head. That was surprising to hear as everyone seemed so friendly in this place.] I know I arrived here but everything seems so peaceful.

[Then again, looks can be deceiving...]
