[Shamisen... hmm, yeah, he's pretty sure he's heard of those before in Inazuma. But this is most certainly not Inazuma, so that doesn't help him out much.

Still, he smiles.]
Of course! Venti the bard, at your service—three time winner of the Most Popular Bard in Mondstadt. [never mind that those wins were in three different centuries, details]

Alas, I'm not sure if that title would mean anything to you, as this place appears to be quite far from Mondstadt indeed.

Ahaha, that's a shame! But it's not so bad, being unburdened by fame. A pleasure to make your acquaintance!

[There are still plenty of questions on his mind, and he should probably be a lot more concerned about his current predicament... but also, it's not like he was busy or anything, so instead of worrying about literally any of This he's just going to sit the heck down and brandish his strings.]

You go ahead and take the lead! I'm pretty good at improvising.

[It's a different song, so he needs a moment to catch the rhythm before joining in... but, true to his word, he is very good at improvising. It's with a trained ear and deft hands that he manages to keep up with the unfamiliar tune, somehow weaving in his harp in a way that doesn't sound completely awful.

When the song finally ends, he lets the last notes ring out and fade before deigning to speak.]

Hmm, not bad! You've certainly been keeping up with your practise.
