Who: Raihan and you! What: December catch-all! Prompts are in the comments. Where: All over! When: Void-ember (December) Content Warnings: none at the moment.
[oh it's just that guy who's kinda into himself with the old lady problems]
What do you want? Everything is always terrible and this world is a cosmic joke at my expense, so no, nothing's alright! If you didn't notice, there's now a volcano running through my garden!
[ he opens his mouth to warn her about what is probably very dangerous lava, but the way she stomps around in it without burning stops the words before they leave him. from the way it moves when disturbed, it really just looks like... thick, red water. he'll have to investigate that with Torkoal and Turtonator later on, but for now he's more concerned with her mini-rampage. clearly she's upset, but from what he already knows about her, he's not entirely sure how much he'll be able to say anything that will help. ]
I'm guessing it's your first time seeing something from your world here.
[ seeing Wyndon here is a surprise, but not as much as it was when he first arrived and saw Hammerlocke. he can sympathize with her freaking out, at least. ]
[And she finally stops stomping around and screeching to glare at him with a withering expression.]
I don't care at all. Did you not hear me? This volcano is running through the garden that I spent an actual month planting and cultivating and whose seeds I performed extremely demeaning tasks to get my hands on.
I could not possibly care less what this awful non-world brings in from my home. It's just going to warp it in stupid terrible ways.
Case in point.
[She stomps the lava again.]
This is the Pheonix's volcano. I don't even like the place.
I was more worried about you yelling bloody murder at a volcano, so not really! Usually when people are screaming at new stuff, it's because it was from where they came from.
[ he was more concerned that she was hurt when he heard the yelling. now he's just a little irked that she's being nasty about it, but pushing back isn't going to help that any. ] I get that you're upset, but attitude's not going to bring your garden back.
[ Duraludon, who is probably the better behaved of the two of them, senses the tension and hopes to ease it by approaching Viridi to offer her a scone. the act of goodwill prompts a sigh from Raihan, but more to steady himself than out of exasperation. his partner, as usual, is right - scolding isn't going to help, either. ]
Sorry that it happened, though. I was trying say that I sympathize, so...
I'm not even screaming at anyone! You're the one who barged in. I'm allowed to be as angry as I want; don't stick your nose in if you're just going to be condescen --
Oh thanks.
[Offering sweets is absolutely the best course of action here. Viridi grouchily takes a large bite out of the scone.]
Mmgng mngh mngh -- [swallow] -- 'elpful, you can find me some more flower seeds.
I didn't know that! And no one's saying you can't be mad, either. But when people start screaming, it'll garner attention no matter what...
[ he exhales, doing his best to keep his chill as he looks to Duraludon with an exasperated smile. sometimes the simplest gestures were the best ones, weren't they? Raihan has to remember to take a page from his partner's book every once and a while. ]
I'll keep an eye out - you might find some around the lake, but that's all I can think of. Flowers just sort of appear whenever they feel like it, from what I've seen.

[she screams, stomping around in the spicy lava]
What?! Who's there?!

It's a lot to take in. Trust me - I get it.

[Viridi heaves a sigh as she swallows the last chunk of cake.]
See why I'm upset? This took me so long. This place is specifically designed to spite me and only me.
[Duraludon gets a pet. ...If she can reach. Probably not. Duraludon gets a pat on the side.]
