[He says with a small glare, but...the edits actually do kind of help. He sighs.]

It’s not like I can stop you, and I’m not asking you to leave, it’s just kind of hard to play with all the random shouting, get it?

[The concept that Viridi should be courteous to other people rattles around inside her skull for a few moments before it goes sailing out her ears. You can hear the whooshing noise as it departs.]

Oh, I see. You want me to only shout at people when they're playing and not you.

[Well, he’s not...not saying that, but...he should probably try to be a good sportsman to the best of his ability while he’s here.]

Not that I wouldn’t appreciate that, but I’m pretty much playing the whole time, you know. It’s not just when the ball comes my way.

I'm deeply offended, Iwa! Asking a lot here. Here I come ready to enliven your game with my clever wordplay and turns of phrase that I practiced in a mirror for hours beforehand.

I suppose we'll just all sit in silence and not appreciate the full cultural experience of a Little League sports game with disgruntled suburban parents.

I mean, wouldn’t it be more satisfying to watch people fuck up cause they suck instead of fuck up because they can’t hear?

[He's trying so hard to appease her, she almost feels bad. ...Actually, she does feel bad. She can't help but snort as she crosses her arms.]

...I mean, don't go around telling people, but I'm not that oblivious all the time. It just makes for better comedy. But you really need this to go well, huh?

Huh? [Cue Iwa blinking dumbly in Virdi’s direction. So, yeah, maybe he did think she was that oblivious (then again, maybe he just thought she was that difficult), but as it turns out, she’s...actually being pretty understanding about this whole thing. He idly considers that maybe he should stop thinking of her as an actual child once in a while, but...well, just look at her! It’s tough.

[He grins a little when she offers her compromise and gives a thumbs up.]

Sounds like a deal to me, Your Radiance. It really would be no fun if we didn’t have some outside pressure.

[It would probably be too much to tell her that he actually appreciates that she knows he’s taking this seriously, so he leaves that thought behind for good measure. No need to get all goopy.]

Now get back out there, sport! Or I'll be forced to yell at the ref to eject you from the game for fraternizing with the enemy! 'Cause if you think I'm here to give you a pep rally, you got another thing coming!
