How were things while I was gone?

Kind of lightly irritating. They did something to the shrine... and I think I might have figured out that I have the wrong powers. But it hasn't been entirely bad.

This place is starting to shift and change.

So... the shrine is sitting on top of this greek-looking complex. Happened out of the blue one day. We think the Void's trying to give a worship place for everything, and the gods and spirits have been talking about trying to ... play nice about it. [She made a face]

As for my 'powers.' Uh... I blessed your boss and she had a hell of a perfect day apparently? Which... is REALLY not what my powers are, but I did it apparently? And I don't entirely know how.

I suppose that's true. She's not here as much anymore. She's doing that grill thing in the Market isn't she?

I could test it by trying to do it to a couple people, anyone who's been venerating at the shrine, I'd say is fair. She wasn't jealous or anything because of it. Only person that had trouble was because of Memetos, and .... she's ok now.

[Not naming names, because she was still embarrassed about Rinoa.]

(But to the last question, he just nods. Last he's seen, she was. It was good, having Tifa with him in Heavenly Blanc, but he's been nothing but supportive of her pursuing something that would be better for her mindspace.)

[She really wasn't that great with business. But it did make sense. It did explain the correction. She looked at him and considered for a minute before reaching out one of her hands. There was nothing immediately obvious. Maybe a haze in the air. Not much. She grunted once and looked at her hand.]

Ngh... don't think there's as much. It might have built up before I did it for her. Might help when people visit. I don't think you'll notice anything at first... but if your day goes different? Let me know.

I want to know if it was a fluke or I actually did make her day lucky.

[Exactly. A day just going right. Things just feeling good. It wasn't anything world-shattering.

She looked over at him, thinking for a minute and then shrugging.]

How about a cappuccino? Something light.

Sure.

(Not a challenge! A minute later, two cappuccinos stand proudly on the counter, and he takes one for himself. He definitely should stop drinking whatever it is the client is, the caffeine barely has any effect on him anymore.)
