[ ahsoka lifts the box, gives it a toss in her hand a couple times to judge its weight, and winds back her arm to throw the box. it's a sudden voice that gets her to grind her throwing arm back, the toss halted mid-throw. her fingers press in sharp to keep the crystal from slipping out of her hand, while one foot steps forward to plant hard on the ground to keep herself from falling. ]

Huh?

[ her body half-turns toward the direction of the voice, an unfamiliar face with no name in her mind. a new person? ]

Coin? [ she repeats his last word, confusion striking her face. ] Wait - do you know what this is?

[pragmatism]

[ He comes to a stop next to Ahsoka - good thing he had stopped her from throwing the Mora into the lake. It would be hard to fish it out again given that he's cut off from his Geo abilities here ]

This is a Mora coin.

[ He doesn't like to speak too loudly - his usual voice is calm and soothing. ]

The Mora is the standard currency of my homeland.

[ well, that does provide an explanation for what it is but- ]

So then, is the Mora coin cursed or is it just me?

Cursed?

[ This he says carefully, taking the coin and the box from Ahsoka. Looking at it, he cannot detect anything magical. It just seems like a normal coin. ]

[ so he doesn't know anything about what's been going on. partly a relief because it likely won't happen to him. partly not so because then the void is definitely messing with her. ]

I'll... just show you.

[ because it's the sort of thing that warrants demonstration. ahsoka steps away from the edge of the lake, giving herself space on a patch of grass. she inhales and then carefully bends down, planning to sit- ]

[ and then, from his hand, the box will blink out and reappear right on the spot she sits on. she hisses and hops up, turning to give it a glare. ]

That has been happening to me for a day now.

[pragmatism]

[ That's strange. Very strange indeed... Zhongli walks forward, holding out one hand. Even though he doesn't have his powers now, maybe there's something he could do? ]

Can I have the coin?

[ He closes his hand around the box. Nothing particularly interesting happens, but since he's had a similar experience with that lyre, maybe both are related. Objects from other worlds falling in tend to be how this world gets more content. Venti's observations told him that these items tend to belong to someone else. This is probably his, but he can't tell because he's made countless Mora coins in his long life. ]

Given that it originates from my world, I do believe it will become more ordinary if it is left with me.
