We hereby start the Void Calendar! All over the Void since yesterday, several handwritten notes have been taped or stapled to the Void's most populated areas in the hopes to drive the people to the popular bar/cafe. Heavenly Blanc's exterior has been protected from any upcoming storms by a large awning, and more tables and chairs have been temporarily set to settle any issues of overcrowding on the inside. Upon entering, one will be able greeted by the aroma of curry, although the spices vary from pot to pot, and coffee and alcohol will be served throughout the evening.

Within the interior of the bar, a small space has been divided and cleared out -- next to the jukebox. There, one will find a few microphones resting on their stands, waiting for whoever is brave enough to sing on them to whatever is playing in Heavenly Blanc when the storm hits. Last, but not least, a whiteboard has been visibly placed next to the entrance. It reads: "Names of the Months", and you may either write your own or add sticks to vote on your favorites.

Hmm... [ Hey, this is a pretty good game, huh? Aerith smiles sideways, tilting her head as she considers the question, tapping a finger against her chin. ] Never have I ever...been to the beach!

[Finally, one Akechi can agree with, though it's a little sad to say so. He gives her a smile and a nod.]

Nor have I, until I arrived here. By the time I was old enough to go unaccompanied, I couldn't risk getting burnt before a television appearance. Not that I had the free time for it, to tell the truth.

Are you on TV, Akechi? [ Fun and impressive! ] I can see why you'd want to avoid all that sun... I bet I'd get burned pretty quick, honestly.

O-M-G, you can't be serious. ( sipping here!! ) We've totally gotta get you to one... They're bad for the skin, but it's soooo nice to just relax there! And there's plenty of hot guys to look at.

Sorry to say it, but it's true. [ She shrugs, looking...not particularly disappointed by the whole thing. ] It sounds nice, though! Maybe I'll get the opportunity someday.

[ That last bit makes her laugh, of course, and her smile turns mischievous. ]

Well, you can find those just about anywhere, am I right? If you keep an eye out, that is!

[Kaiba totally thinks Takoba Beach still counts- but he doesn't say as much. He just takes a sip of his drink.]

Oh yeah? Everyone else seems to think it's a real shame. I guess you've been and didn't enjoy it, then?

Hmm... [ She smiles, cocking her head just slightly to study him. ] Well, if you're from somewhere cold, the heat might be nice, right? And you can always wash sand away after. [ As to that second point... ] I think it'd be good to take a break from the network once in a while. You know, disconnect? Try and enjoy the beach itself, instead of focusing on your phone? You've probably got that stuff all the rest of the time, so...!

[ Aerith trails off, then adds: ]

Besides, you couldn't play any beach games if you had some device in your hand.

Hmmmm... yeah, I've seen the coast at leat a couple times in life so I have to drink to that. [She considered] And I'd say the beech here doesn't really count does it?

I wasn't counting it...but, if we are, then I guess mine is invalid! [ She laughs, shrugging helplessly. ] I kinda thought all the trash, and it being this weird other world made it so it didn't count.

Hehe, let's not count it. This feels like a 'back home' sort of thing. It's hard to call what we're doing here the same as back home.

It really is. [ Aerith agrees, sighing. ] But, in a good way! I'm glad I've gotten all these experiences. We probably wouldn't be able to get anything like this back home. Not where I'm from, anyway.

[ And her world is already pretty complicated. ]

We definitely couldn't do a lot of this stuff back home. I probably wouldn't spend this much time above ground for one. So, it's a different experience, no question.

Really? I don't know if you've talked about that... Not even when we were in the tunnels. [ As such, Aerith tilts her head curiously. ] Why don't you spend a lot of time above ground? If you don't mind my asking...

Legion, you've been to the beach too, huh? What was yours like?

We have visited multiple beaches. In our universe of origin, they were sites of battle. In the universe we lived in prior to this, our home was on an island.

[anciently]

Battles? [ That's certainly not anywhere to try and vacation, then. ] ...What was your home island like?

[ Maybe that, at least, was less bleak of a place? ]

It was ... home.

(Their headflaps ripple.)

Amenities were limited. Much of the wildlife was hostile. Various islands were presided over by "Gods", with motivations that did not always align with our own. The presence of magic resulted in the regular occurrence of anomalous events. There was no centralized government or economy: decisions were made via community vote, and resources and necessary services were managed via volunteers.

(It doesn't necessarily sound like the best place to live in, but Legion clearly seems to miss it.)

She'll take a sip for that one. She has been to many, many beaches on many, many planets.

"Y'know we've got a beach here, right?" Full of trash, but still a beach.

Aerith smiles, half-mysterious, half-teasing.

"I do...but, I wasn't counting that one. I thought the game was more about things from back home." She considers the situation, and then lifts her drink somewhat. "But...if you think I'm cheating, I can take a sip!"
