We hereby start the Void Calendar! All over the Void since yesterday, several handwritten notes have been taped or stapled to the Void's most populated areas in the hopes to drive the people to the popular bar/cafe. Heavenly Blanc's exterior has been protected from any upcoming storms by a large awning, and more tables and chairs have been temporarily set to settle any issues of overcrowding on the inside. Upon entering, one will be able greeted by the aroma of curry, although the spices vary from pot to pot, and coffee and alcohol will be served throughout the evening.

Within the interior of the bar, a small space has been divided and cleared out -- next to the jukebox. There, one will find a few microphones resting on their stands, waiting for whoever is brave enough to sing on them to whatever is playing in Heavenly Blanc when the storm hits. Last, but not least, a whiteboard has been visibly placed next to the entrance. It reads: "Names of the Months", and you may either write your own or add sticks to vote on your favorites.

[He's been nursing his single cocktail all night, so he's unfortunately sober for all of this. It's a silly, childish game, but he wants so badly to be included that after much consideration, he can't quite resist adding one of his own. If nothing else, he already knows Ren and the other Shujin students will have to drink for it.]

Ah... how about this? Never have I ever been out of my home country. Before arrival here, of course.

[forethinking]

We went to Hawaii.

(Literally all Phantom Thieves. Ren sips, smiling at the memory. Surely a remarkable trip.)

I'm aware.

[He rests his chin in his hand with a smile to indicate that yes, he'd picked that one specifically to get at Ren. While they were on that trip, he was... well. Shall we say, "taking out the trash?"]

What did you do in Hawaii, if I might ask? I've never heard you talk about the trip.

[forethinking]

Went to the beach. Ryuji tried to pick up girls and failed.

(Ren laughs, because Ryuji was going fucking nuts over this trip. Good times!)

People were talking about the Phantom Thieves even in a place like that.

[simulatio]

[He snorts. Yeah, Ryuji has all the charisma of a paper bag, so that doesn't surprise him at all.]

Of course they were.

[His smile doesn't waver, but a hint of warning enters his eyes. Is that really something Ren wants to talk about with him? When he knows now that it was orchestrated intentionally to bring the Thieves to the very heights of their popularity before being struck down?]

[forethinking]

(He knows and it's not really up for a discussion. Instead, he was just commenting on his surprise upon hearing the group leave the mouth of foreigners. But instead of dwelling, he has a question of his own.)

Where would you like to travel to?

[simulatio]

Hm.

[He drums his fingers on the table and hums, grateful to have gotten away from the topic of their opposing roles. In public, anyway.]

I admit, I've never thought about it. Isn't that odd?

[Thoughts like that required planning for the future, after all, and he never thought he'd make it quite that far. But it's Ren asking, so he gives it the benefit of actual thought.]

Perhaps... England. I'd like to experience Sherwood Forest myself.

(Robin Hood may be gone, but Ren knows he still is a part of Akechi, one way or another. It's a smile on his lips that show that thought to the other man.)

Any museums?

[simulatio]

[His eyes narrow briefly as if trying to determine if Ren is mocking him. He's trying to be honest for once, don't make him regret this.]

They have a vistor's centre, yes. If I recall correctly, they hold a week-long festival dedicated to Robin Hood once a year. You can imagine my... personal interest.

[forethinking]

(Not an ounce of mockery, instead, a genuine smile as he comes closer to listen.)

What is the festival like?

Apparently they have people dressed up from the era. Medieval times, you understand, with jousting and musicians.

[He starts to brighten a little as he talks about it, gloved finger tracing the rim of his glass. "If I recall correctly," my ass, he's absolutely looked into what it was like before.]

Did you know there's a tree standing in that forest that's nearly a thousand years old? It's said to be one of Robin Hood's main hideouts, though of course, there's no way of proving it.

(Ren could listen to Akechi talk for days, especially if it is something he has such an interest in. His own eyes light up and he rests his chin on the palm of his hand to give Akechi his full attention.)

I didn't. That's amazing. (He wishes he could take Akechi, but alas, their imagination is all they have right now.) What about Scandinavia?

Would I want to visit?

[Again, he's never thought about it. He blinks for a moment, shakes his head, then, seemingly thinking better of it, just shrugs one shoulder.]

If the opportunity arises, I certainly wouldn't turn it down. But as I'm certain you're aware, once you start getting as far back into history as my interests stretch, you're entering the realm of mythology rather than folklore. And unlike, say, temples in Athens or Rome, I'm not certain there are as many physical places to visit. At a guess, I'd say the different climates have much to do with it. I've heard Scandinavian winters are quite brutal.

Not to mention the fact that many of what we would consider temples or churches would have been taken over by the Christians centuries ago. According to my studies, they were quite good at stamping out anything that might oppose them.

[His studies, and, like, his experiences with most "angelic" Shadows, the Judeo-Christian concept of destruction of one's enemies in the name of God.]

(Ren listens, and well, Akechi is not wrong at the slightest. Probably there are museums and other things they could look at, but alas, most of the history has been washed out, unfortunately.

It does bring the question for his own Personas in his mind. One of them gets too bad of a rep to even consider, and Ren has no interest of roaming too much in religious places to figure himself out. Arsène, on the other hand, would be interesting.)

The winters... (He shudders. Tokyo is too cold for him, imagine the land of the ice and snow, from the midnight sun where the hot springs flow...) I'm sure there are museums to visit, even if it's not the same.

[Hm. Akechi has the sudden sense that he's committed a certain faux-pas here, considering that Legion's planet was destroyed, wasn't it? Oof.]

Are you, ah... able to ingest that? [is all he says instead with a grimace.]

(What? No, just their people. Ownership of the planet has been contested between the Geth and their creators, though.

Unless he's thinking of Enso, but that's not really a planet, and Legion kind of helped in destroying it.)

(They don't seem at all offended by any of this.)

[Without commentary Kaiba takes a sip of his drink. Had it been anyone else he might have qualified it, but it wasn't, and he'd spoken to Akechi enough for one evening.]

(She's not going to count anything that happened in her life before she was raised by humans, because, well... she doesn't remember it. And Novakid don't really have 'countries' either.)
