They seem to be sort of used to the idea of being companions. This one's that way too. I'm not sure how that came about, but it's natural to them. Of course, if they're drawn out of a world, even in part, maybe that's just how it works in this Raihan's world?

They're mostly harmless... though there's this one chicken looking thing down in the Wall Market. It evolved recently and turned into a bigger thing. It was the weirdest thing.

[ She's gotten some idea of how that world and its creatures work between Lance, Blue, and Raihan telling her about it. ]

Chicken? [ Huh. ] That's weird. I've never seen anything like that before. Was it definitely another Pokémon-type thing?

Well, it was one of those featherless pig-chicken creatures with the hands for feet? It's been haunting the Wall Market, laying eggs and being a nuisance. It got wrapped up in light and then transformed before my eyes into one of the bigger gray flightless birds.

I don't know if evolution is a "Pokemon" thing? I barely know what they are.

[Wabi, meanwhile, nodded that it was definitely a pokemon thing.]

Oh! I kinda remember that...I think. [ She laughs a little, shaking her head. ] Wall Market's already such a weird place that I may not have even noticed!

[ There are so many other oddities there, to say the least... ]

I'll have to keep an eye out, though, next time I'm around. Do they have a name or anything? [ Not that (as far as she knows) any of these weird species have names. Not the ones native to the Void, anyway. ]

It's easy to miss that little turkey if you're not paying attention. Now he's a bigger bird. I wonder if he'll get an even bigger change eventually.

[She would have put money on that at this point.]

I haven't really given it one yet, but maybe it needs one? It's ornery as all get out, fair warning.

If he gets too big, we might have a real problem! [ Maybe he'd have to be relocated... ] Maybe one of the more experienced trainers can deal with all that for us.

[ Particularly if the thing isn't violent or anything. Maybe Raihan would know what to do: he's shown he really understands the creatures, since he helped her train Mireille a bit. ]

I don't think you have to choose one, but if you felt like it... [ It's easier if things have names, right? ] Anything come to mind?

If he does that a second time, maybe we will have to figure something out. He's pretty big now, but not huge. They understand this better than us after all.

I think it needs one if I claim it? I don't think it needs a name before that. That feels right, doesn't it?

They definitely do. So, I'm sure it's not gonna be a problem. Not with all of them to look after it.

[ She trusts their judgment in general, and certainly when it comes to this subject that most others in this place have no experience with. ]

Pretty much. It's not like we're going to have much to worry about for the moment if this is the worst of it Me n my little tag-along should keep going. Got signs to paint that aren't getting painted otherwise.
