"Such as the lack of a hole in the ceiling."

He might act flighty and careless at times, but he's been paying attention to what he's told.

"I noticed that the 'bar and cafe' seems to feature two or three different architectural styles, to say nothing of the chimeric animals here."

He's quite sure that's noteworthy, even if he doesn't have much by way of theories why. Still, he considers that common knowledge, and mentions it mostly as a passing remark. Merlin's attention is still preoccupied on the flowers, after all.

"Would they even take if some were transplanted elsewhere..." He half mutters, clearly speaking to himself.

"Right." The hole made by a guy falling through the roof, and then expanded when a second guy fell through the roof years later.

The comment about the bar and cafe has her nodding, reflecting on her visits to Heavenly Blanc so far. It...definitely has a lot of aspects of Seventh Heaven, but there are aspects that aren't the same, too. Like her church, and all the other locations of this world.

So weird.

"I'd be willing to give it a try. With a few of them, at first, as an experiment." She isn't sure where yet - there isn't one spot that seems obviously better for the test than another - but it might be worth the attempt. "Know any place you think they'd do well?"

"I can't say I've looked yet," he only just learned these flowers existed, "but none come immediately to mind."

The strange geography of this world doesn't really lend itself to anything that convenient. However...

"Perhaps something could be arranged, though."

It's not like he has anything better to do.

She tilts her head, interest piqued, adopting a little, pleased smile.

"Well, if you happen to find anything, I'd love to hear about it. I think we could all benefit from the flowers thriving here!"

If only to brighten the strange world they all inhabit. Otherwise, she'll just have to take care of them here as best she can and hope it'll be sustainable without the sun streaming down...

"A world without flowers is dreary indeed."

Said utterly sincerely; Merlin has a deep appreciation for the beauty of such things.

"Though it make take some time to find or prepare something appropriate."

"Well, there's no rush!" Probably. "You'd really be doing us a favor, whenever you get around to it."

'Us' being herself and the flowers, naturally. Aerith glances back to them from Merlin, considering.

"I'm gonna give them another look-over, but let me know in the meantime if there's anything else, okay? I'll be here!"

He'll be sure to check in on the status of this little flower path from time to time. And if they seem to be doing poorly, well, then he can try to find at least a temporary solution more quickly.

But hopefully it won't come to that. It'd be nice to have flowers around again.

"Of course."

Merlin will just enjoy the flowers a little longer before he goes on his way again.
