[ That earns him a nervous laugh and a small wave of her hand -- the only reason she knows about this stuff is because she's been sneaking off to the library in Hammerhead to seek out books on electronics for the simple reason that she wants to become a little more knowledgeable. Not for herself, but for Seto; she wants to learn more about the things he does and what he's doing when he tinkers with stuff without asking him directly to explain or teach. So, she's taken it upon herself to just sort of quietly try and figure this stuff out for herself. And so far, so good. ] Hm... maybe you could take apart one of the things that actually does work and compare it to this one? Maybe you could visually see if anything was dirty or burned out compared to a working... machine.
