 So, random thought: do you think this place is listening to us talk to each other like this? I mean, something here is alive, right? You suddenly get magical veins pulsing everywhere that somehow give us telepathy, plus the fact that there's a bloody beating heart underground!  I don't know about you, but I bet it's all connected somehow. It's got to be!

[ he sounds certain, but just as quickly as his thought ends, another, more lighthearted one follows. this doesn't have to be a Pepe Silvia situation, and he doesn't want it to be. ]

...Either that, or I'm going completely mad. But on the off chance I'm not and my natural genius is leading to some wild breakthrough, humour me for a sec - what would you want to say if you could talk to it directly? [ and before anyone has the chance to answer, he adds- ] And no "Take me home!", 'cuz that's too obvious. 

[ everyone wants to go home. he's pretty sure that's been made abundantly clear by now... or at least he hopes it has. ]

[Not that he necessarily disagrees, but it's not something he's wanted to dwell on, considering the implications. Blue sounds more queasy about this than annoyed, but he pauses to think about the second question.]

It doesn't have to go anywhere, technically. It's not like we know anything for sure - I'm just throwing it out there. For all we know, I'm completely wrong!

[ it wouldn't be the first time! the plus side to having unshakeable confidence in your public persona is that it's harder for people to tell when you don't know a damn thing. ]

Sure, why not? The stars are nice, but I sort of miss looking up and seeing the moon. And the sun.

Maybe once our teams can battle again, I can get Torkoal to use its Drought and get the sun going whenever we need it!

Don't, [Blue admonishes with a grumble. From what he'd heard from Akechi and others, it already seemed as if this place really did listen in on them- and if Raihan was right, and this place was actually alive, saying things even as a joke was way too risky.]

...Although that's not a bad idea, I guess. The storms would be more useful, though... Y'don't happen to have Rain Dance on-hand, huh?

[He taught it to Gyarados occasionally, but he didn't seem to be able to reteach any of the TM's in his case with this place's influence. Drat.]

[It was a dynamic Blue enjoyed, as much as he might be reluctant to admit it- but he'd enjoy it way more if they could actually work that rivalry out on the pitch.]

I'm ready to admit you'd have the upper hand in competitions like those. You've probably sussed it out by now, but team's not exactly built for speed...

[ Duraludon is deceptively fast despite his looks, but his chunky body keeps him from being particularly graceful in his movements. and while Flygon has some agility, but he always performs better when there's a sandstorm whipped up. ]

But if I raced you, I'd definitely win. Just saying.

Hey, Flygon are pretty good at zipping around, right? ...But, you know, I'm glad you're aware of Pidgeot's reputation as a mighty speedster of the skies!

And as for Arcanine, I'm sure you already know they're as fast as the wind.
