 So, random thought: do you think this place is listening to us talk to each other like this? I mean, something here is alive, right? You suddenly get magical veins pulsing everywhere that somehow give us telepathy, plus the fact that there's a bloody beating heart underground!  I don't know about you, but I bet it's all connected somehow. It's got to be!

[ he sounds certain, but just as quickly as his thought ends, another, more lighthearted one follows. this doesn't have to be a Pepe Silvia situation, and he doesn't want it to be. ]

...Either that, or I'm going completely mad. But on the off chance I'm not and my natural genius is leading to some wild breakthrough, humour me for a sec - what would you want to say if you could talk to it directly? [ and before anyone has the chance to answer, he adds- ] And no "Take me home!", 'cuz that's too obvious. 

[ everyone wants to go home. he's pretty sure that's been made abundantly clear by now... or at least he hopes it has. ]

When you put it that way, it sounds more like mind reading than "listening".

[ which... is somewhat less preferable to just dropping into conversations through ley lines, but it's not as if they can do anything about it. the world has already proven that it doesn't exactly know what to do with the information it's colelcted. ]

A part of me was hoping that these magic veins would be enough, but I guess not. You think there's something else it could use?

[ Worlds are very different from human comprehension, after all. Zhongli is used to this. ]

The Ley Lines may have a source at the heart of the world. But to access it would be rather difficult. The other possibility is to try and amplify our words so that it will reach that heart without needing us to be physically there.

"Ley lines"? Where'd you get that name?

[ clearly, this isn't something Raihan is familiar with. he's more inclined to refer to them in relation to the biological imagery that the world seems to be leaning towards, but the name Zhongli is using does sound more neat than "magic veins". ]

You might be onto something, though! Maybe if we all try to send the same message at once, it'll resonate somehow?

Oh, they resemble Ley Lines in my homeworld. I thought it to be a replica.

You would need to muster the collective thoughts of everyone here to have a possibility of an effect, I believe.

Oh yeah? [ he chuckles. ] Alright... I think I like your name for 'em better than mine. So, were you able to send thoughts like this back in Teyvat, or did the void take some liberties with it?

[ the mechanic feels a bit invasive, but maybe it was the norm where Zhongli is from. if it was, maybe he can get some pointers on how to use them properly. ]

I would think its telepathic function is something taken from another world. Ordinary humans would not be able to tap into the ley lines of Teyvat.

[ It would be something that gods could do, but Zhongli is masquerading as a mortal here, so... ]

Everyone would need to be agreeing on the same thing as well. Locating all the inhabitants physically would take time.

I wonder where they picked that part up, then. [ very curious! well, this is an open forum; if anyone else is picking up on his question, they can chime in. ] I'm still getting used to hearing people in my head, honestly... Maybe I can teach them to text, instead.

It'd take some serious networking, let alone organizing and negotiating... but I'd be willing to give it a shot! What've we got to lose, right?

[ Zhongli is more of the sort to keep to himself. Plus, he already has someone that would not willingly work with him. Raihan doesn't seem like the sort to shy away from networking, he'll definitely know more people. ]
