[ Turing was looking through the piles for some useful materials. Or rather, they were hoping to find something specific in the off-chance it or something similar washed ashore. They didn't think much of burrowing their way deeper into the pile from the other side, and thanks to their height they didn't even know anyone else was there. They only just managed to get themselves out of harm's way before the pile collapsed. ]

W-whoa! [ That was the sound of a yelp but...a slightly artificial sounding one? ]

That was close...

[They can be short together then, because Yugi certainly doesn't notice Turing either until that artificial sounding yelp chimes through the sound of... well, junk collapsing. Even in this strange world, junk didn't usually yelp, right? Right? Please say that's right...

But then that leaves the option of the sound coming from something that could be surprised! Yugi pokes around the now settled heap to see who is on the other side.]

Oh gosh, I'm so sorry! I didn't realize anyone else was here. Are you okay?

[ Turing looked up at Yugi for a brief moment before scrambling to their feet. He sounded worried... Could they mitigate that a little? ]

I'm okay! Thank you for your concern. [ They offered a small smile. ]

I was... I was just a little surprised by the pile moving all of a sudden, that's all.

[Phew. That's a relief. The worry is, in fact, mitigated a little. Even if he is giving Turing a quick once-over to make sure they weren't fibbing. Because Yugi totally would if he was in that situation.]

No, that's fair. Sorry again. I should have been more careful.

[He looks off to the side, scratching his cheek.]

Can't say this is my best first impression, but it's nice to meet you. I hope that, um, accident didn't cover anything you were looking over on that side.

[ Turing shook their head at the apology. Granted, they were unfortunately getting better at lying, but considering they weren't a great liar to begin with, it didn't make much of a difference in the grand scheme of things. Anyway, that aside, it was quite easy for Turing to forgive and forget once an apology came out. ]

It is nice to meet you as well! [ A troubled look came across their screen before they remembered to suppress it. ] It didn't cover anything I was looking for, but if that were the case, it would simply be a matter of digging it out. So there was no harm done!
