[ Parsee has a lot of good questions floating around in her head, but right now, Ann's all about that True Love™ thing and as long as this dude isn't here, she's not seeing a problem. Even if he does show up.... what's that phrase? Oh, right. You snooze, you lose. ]

Ah... well. He was falsely accused of something he didn't do, so he had a criminal record that we were trying to get fixed. We took care of that, but it came at a cost.

[ Akechi had been that cost. And then Maruki came and changed everything like it hadn't happened, apparently. That part... is a little fuzzy. ]

...I'm not even entirely sure about the rest, but he said everything worked itself out. There was a false reality involved, apparently, but he said that we turned things back to the way they were supposed to be. How much did Ren tell you about the stuff we got up to?

Being brutally honest, none of you said much. Violet explained the whole "Persona" thing a little bit because she didn't have a choice when we met down here. [She gestured to the tunnels.] Hers was out after all.

I got flashes of images from his memories once, but Ren was always real cagey. But now that you say "False reality" I bet that makes more sense. You guys haven't been entirely sure if this wasn't another false reality, so you don't know 100% who you can trust absolutely, do you?

That... now that we've been here for months, that makes more sense. He had to be convinced that this reality could be trusted to be different from yours. Since you were trying to clean up some reality altering crap, right?
