[ Sitting and resting. It feels like there's little else to do in this place. Although things do seem to be returning to a certain degree of normal; hunger struck her a short while ago, and Felix too, if his nibbling at the leather of her boots was any indication. Remembering the stalls in the market, she was able to pick up some food for each of them, and now while she rests, she's letting her companion do a little hunting, insofar as her throwing small chunks of meat for the creature to run after can really be called "hunting".

She looks up at the sound of her name, and smiles when she sees a familiar face approaching. ]

Hi, Ren.

[ The trailed-off question makes her smile. ]

Felix? Wait just one second...

[ And just like that, the animal tears into view, a piece of meat clutched in his mouth. He drops it on the ground in front of them and chirps before eating it in a single snap of his beak. Rinoa smiles, eyes bright, and turns to Ren, holding out a piece of the meat. ]

Hungry?

[forethinking]

(She seemed ok with his approaching, so he sits after removing the coat (new outfit!) and folding it - resting his hands on top of the garment on his lap.

Felix! That was it. Ren smiles when the creature comes to his sight, offering a hand for Felix to sniff. Almost curious whether he recognizes him...)

Not right now, but constantly. Hope sleep is the next thing.

(Please! He's exhausted... Emotionally...)

[ She notices the coat that he's wearing, but doesn't think much of it for now - after all, they've only met once, and she has no idea what else came over with him when he arrived from wherever he came. She smiles, shaking her head. His comment about the hunger resonates - she can't seem to decide when she's full and when she's hungry, at least right now. And the idea of sleep... ]

I'd love that. Maybe not if we're falling asleep and waking up all the time, though. I could just... really go for a good eight hours, you know?

[ It's weird, how tired she is of not being tired. Still, she smiles, watching as Felix greets Ren with a chirp, skipping the sniff of his fingers to go for an affectionate headbutt. Recognition, perhaps, or just the creature being his usual overly-friendly self. ]

8 hours or 3 days.

(Both are probably the same with how time is warped and strange. Ren can't even comprehend the amount of time he spends at the bar in relation to the time he spends in his recon missions - all that come unsuccessful in determining what's going on, or even finding his friends.

It's a little disheartening, but he'll push through. When Felix opens up for the pets, there is no hesitation from Ren in giving it to him. He's pretty sure that maybe Felix can actually recognize him on their next meeting after this. The last one was too brief for him to expect him to!)

[ In this place, eight hours and three days are probably the same thing, Rinoa thinks, but she can't help but laugh anyway. It's true that after all the anxiety and worry she's felt since arriving here, the idea of sleeping for three whole days is a wonderful one.

Or maybe it's just nice because it would actually be something to do other than wander around aimlessly in the hope she bumps into someone she knows. Felix has helped, but...

Speaking of her companion, she watches with a smile as he rolls over under Ren's attention, displaying his belly to his new friend. ]

I told you about Angelo, right? She's named for a figure from history. Sant' Angelo di Roma's her full name. So... this is Sant' Felix di Girona.

[ She's not sure if they'll ever have the chance to meet, of course. But at least this way they're connected somehow. ]

(Of course, Ren just beams when Felix displays a tummy, a hand moving to scratch it immediately. Last time they spoke, there was a nostalgia regarding their lost companions so it's fair to say Ren feels a little relieved to see that she is dealing with her own loneliness well and even found a way to honor Angelo herself.

Him, on the other side, could not find something close to Morgana even if he tried. The cat talks and fights. He can't be considered a pet as it is, just a friend stuck in cat form. Either way, he offered Rinoa a soft smile and a nod.)

[ In response to the question, Rinoa just looks at Ren for a long moment, her embarrassment creeping visibly onto her face in the form of wide eyes and a pink stain on her cheeks. She reads a lot, she's always read a lot - sometimes in that house, or even at Garden while Squall was busy, there weren't many other things for her to do - but that doesn't mean she always retains everything she knows, especially regarding history. ]

I, um. I'm not sure.

[ The moment of embarrassment passes, and she laughs at herself, an amused shake of her head. ]

Honestly, I just saw the name in a book once, when I got her, and thought it was cool. Felix's name was in the same book. I always wanted to get her a friend, so I had a name already picked out!

[ Besides, whoever Angelo di Roma is... there's a good chance Ren would never have heard of them anyway, right? Their worlds seem so different, after all... ]
