[He starts muttering to himself again, furrowing his brow with a serious expression. His experience with time travel is limited, but he knows enough not to doubt Zack's claims. Something like that is definitely possible, maybe even more probable than usual?]
This is a chaotic space that exists outside the normal rules of what you would call "reality". It's not that unusual for time and space to get twisted up in a dimension like this.
Still, that's concerning. We'll have to be especially careful about the return method if time is also a variable that needs to be considered. Not to mention the possibility of causing a paradox if someone learns too much about their own future... well, it'll probably be fine.

So, do you have any idea about how we should get a return method? Timelines or not... I need to get back too.
[He needs to know what's happened to him. And all the other unanswered questions that were left hanging for him. But it still nags at him...]
Do you think timelines can be changed?
[And then very unceremoniously Zack picks up another piece of the computer trash pile like he's going to find his answers in it all.]
If we're outside of normal reality, all of this has to do something.
[Zack, this guy can't just build you a time machine out of computer parts for you...]

[Spoken with confidenceโit is a goal that he's been working towards himself, after all.
Leaving this world still comes first, though. He makes a bit of a face when Zack picks up another one of his components, but since he hasn't broken anything yet... he'll tolerate it. for now.]
I've dealt with dimensional travel before, but building a portal from scratch won't be easy... hopefully, there's something already in place here that I can work with instead. If not, I'll have to get my own machines working first before I can do anything. It's not my field of expertise, but dimensional travel is basically just teleportation on a grander scale. I'll find a way to make it work.

[Honestly, Zack has no idea what he's talking about or what dimensional time travel really is or if it's actually possible or not but the guy has just proved a very good point. If Zack knows his future (thank you sephiroth) what's stopping him from changing it now that he can go back and try and stop the specific thing that he knows about??
It's brilliant!! ... Maybe.]
If that's going to get us out of here then sign me up. How can I help? I'm yours to command, dude.
[He's also kind of smacking his hands on the counter with that computer chip in hand still...]

Ugh. That's the last thing he needs to think about right now. Add sighs, rubbing his temples.] You can start by not trying to smash my components...
Yes, for real. I've got too many important things to do to let a place like this keep me down. Even if I have to rewrite the laws of reality myself, I will find a way out of here. That's a promise.
Of course, returning to my own dimension will be my priority, but I suppose I can try to find a way for others to return to where they came from as well, if it's not too much trouble.

[This guy might seem a little arrogant but the fact that he offers up to try and help everyone else home as well is enough for Zack. This is the first sort of lead he's been able to grab since arriving here so Zack is holding on to it.
Oh, and he stops smacking his hands on the counter luckily. Returning that chip to the pile with a flick of his hand.]
Name's Zack Fair, by the way. Really, if there's anything I can do to help you get things up and running just call me up. I don't know much about computers and tech jargon but I'm happy to move shit around for you or help you hook stuff up.
[Or honestly, he'll just be a guinea pig.]
