a delightful picnic day.

Who: Everyone!
What: PokeBalls are now functional, and there are a lot more friends in Tabula Rasa.
Where: Outside of Heavenly Blanc! It's a picnic, baby.
When: You know, now-ish.
Content Warnings: Cute. Dragons. Birbs.

It seemingly happens at random, for the trainers of the creatures they call Pokemon. Sudden bursts of light, and out emerge quite a few new friends. Pokemon of different Types, shapes, and sizes are now wandering around . . . sticking close to their trainers, probably.

There's a small gathering outside of the Heavenly Blanc, with various snacks and food set out on tables outside. Feel free to come by, play with Pokemon, and have a bite to eat! It's a random assortment of food and drink, all "foraged" and/or made by the Pokemon crew in order to celebrate their partners being released and to also introduce them to their friends they've made in Tabula Rasa!

Be careful of the rumbling storm nearby, though . . . but on the bright side, at least your phones seem to be working, if you have any? Time to take selfies with your new friends, or maybe a TikTok that just stays on your phone forever.

(Trainers will have top levels, if they want, so if you want to interact with a specific trainer, you can wait for their level! Otherwise, have fun at the picnic.)

[Gazing out over this menagerie of pokémon is marginally more impressive. M a r g i n a l l y. In Seto's opinion there's no dragon present that can compete with the sheer majesty, awe, and terror that his three glorious Blue-Eyes White Dragons can inspire in onlookers- however.. at least these looked more like dragons than the creatures from Mortis Lake and the surrounding forest, so there's that. The cartoonish features of both dragonite and charizard are less appealing to him- that would be more.. Maximillion Pegasus's thing.

This gyarados however.. had something about his eyes that spoke to the dragon duelist. There was a fire in that expression, that eluded to raw power currently being suppressed. The ferocity of a dragon was one of it's more appealing features... in his opinion.

If he still thought Pokemon were a quirk in localization the fact that there were three dragonite would be in keeping with the theory as you could only have three of a kind in a deck, eh- but he'd abandoned that. Mostly, he was lingering here to get a sense of the additions in the pokémon bestiary as not to be caught off guard by any of them later. He might even snap a few pictures, discretely.
