I doubt that it would be feeling all that sentimental over one incident.
[Indicating that he hadn't done anything additional for the winged-giraffes. Granted, he also hadn't witnessed any other altercations among the creatures in general lately]

[He'd fully expected the animal to pop out of it because who or what would willingly allow themselves to be captured? The broken pieces still held some technological data, and would be useful in trying to fix the structural flaws... but this one just had to be different. The cosmetic differences in the pokeballs likely didn't hold much significance to the robot...]

(They think to the concept of "trap happy" animals. Creatures that upon being trapped and released as part of scientific research, begin to intentionally spring traps as it guarantees them a period of food and safety.
This is not identical--they doubt this animal has prior experience with pokeballs--but it may be similar.)

Still, from a strategic stand-point the winged giraffes didn't have much in the way of protection from the other monsters, outside of their size. They might have wings but they didn't seem capable of sustained flight, if indeed.. they flew at all.]

(They're also horrible, vicious creatures that are a cruel mockery of the Geth, but ...
