🥂 HEAVENLY BLANC VOID PARTY 🥂

Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories.

🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party.

🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal.

🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone:

"Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you."

"It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well."

"So Blue basically called me a monster..." Bowser said, in a sort of low growl...

before he suddenly laughed, very loudly, "GWAHAHAHAHA! I guess he was more right than I thought!"

Samuel was about to apologize on Blue's behalf when the loud laugh jolted him practically out of his seat, weakly joining in. Though that does bring up the question....

"So what are you, then? You look very much like a Pokemon, but you're obviously not one." Because if he was, then he would know what a Pokemon was.

"A Koopa. Where I come from, humans aren't the only people around. There's tons of different species, and a lot of 'em have their own kingdoms. I happen to be the King of the Koopas." It's strange, almost unfathomable to Bowser, that there is a world where there was only one sapient species. But it seems many, if not most of the worlds the people here have come from, are like that. "These Pokémon. Do they think like people? Can any of 'em talk?"

"They do think, but not like people for the most part." Meaning they're just as intelligent as people, but they see the world differently. "There are a few Psychic-types who can speak using telepathy. I met a Meowth that could talk -- they normally don't." He'd love to sit down with that Meowth and give it an interview, but since it's a criminal, it's not likely to happen.

"... a Meowth?" Bowser asks, perplexed. "what's that?"

"More importantly, what are types? And what are moves? Blue said I was a fire-type who knew Rapid Spin and Poison Fang. I want to know what that means." Bowser could have guessed, or asked Blue, but he figures that as long as he has an expert on the subject here, he might as well get a clear answer.

"A Meowth is... ah... hmm. I'll draw you a picture." He could describe it as a cat with a coin on its head, but he doesn't know what a cat is, his world only has Pokemon. He finds an empty spot in his notebook, and begins drawing as he answers his question.

"Types are one way we categorize Pokemon and attacks based on their strengths and weaknesses. A Fire-type will be strong against Grass and weak against Water, for example. And moves are just the various techniques Pokemon can use in battle."

With his picture done, he slides the notebook toward Bowser. "And that is a Meowth."

Bowser does know what a cat is, and after squinting to see the sketch in the dark, he recognizes the creature in the drawing as one. He nods as the professor explains, still looking at the drawing.

"And there are Pokémon powerful enough to do something like this? How powerful are normal Pokémon, then? How powerful are the Pokémon Blue or Lance has?" If he was going to battle Blue at some point, as he and Blue had agreed, Bowser should find out just what he's up against, assuming Samuel has that information. And with how much stronger Lance's Dragonite had seemed than Blue's Eevee, it made Bowser wonder how strong these creatures were.

"A Legendary could do something like this, or many powerful Pokemon pooling their powers together." By 'this' Sam assumes he means bringing them all here? "As far as how powerful Pokemon are... it depends on the Pokemon. Some are strong enough to go toe-to-toe with a volcano or hurricane, while others can barely fight. As a human, though, I wouldn't want to start a fight with any Pokemon, even a Magikarp." All that flailing and splashing around can leave a bruise.

"I don't know how powerful Blue's Pokemon are, I haven't met them, but Dragonite is one of the most powerful Pokemon out there that's not a Legendary."

Bowser could ask what a Magikarp is, but he doesn't, and instead simply nods along.

"So are 'Legendary Pokémon' like, gods or something?" Bowser asks. If they were a league above normal Pokémon, some of whom could go up against volcanoes and hurricanes, could some of these Legendary Pokémon rival even the Dark Star or Shadow Queen, Bowser wonders, or even the Chaos Heart?

"I wouldn't call them gods, although some people worship them as such, just like how some people worship the sun. They're more... forces of nature." Even more than that, they are, as he has poetically put before, the fulcrum that nature balances on; mess with a Legendary Pokemon, and all of nature goes out of whack.
