Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories.
🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party.
🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal.
🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone:
 "Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you."
"It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well."

he doesn't mind borrowing names! borrowing names is fine! but applying something else to something it's not is just cheating and absolutely mad? words are confusing enough, why try to make it even more confusing?
when you do that, you get stuff like this! like this conversation! it's BAD! he just described japan! but he called it kanto, which is in japan! but it's not japan! leo doesn't even care about names usually, it's just-- what the heck.

[It's Japan, but it's not Japan, so that describes it exactly. You got it, Leo! You just don't know it. Blue watches his head thud on the table dramatically, and crosses his arms.]
Boy, there sure are a lotta so-called 'kings' around here... At least you're not a Pokémon, too.

but not actually. leo adjusts himself a bit so his chin sits on the table instead, his gaze curious. what else were they talking about? all he knows is that blue's said something new, and he always wants to hear about these novel things from people's worlds that he has nooo idea about-- ]

[Blue waves a dismissive hand, and pouts. Pokémon are more interesting to talk about anyway, although sheesh, he's had to explain them so many times by now! Maybe he should just write a cheat sheet for people....]
[--Although that's the first time someone has mentioned something similar in response. Hmmmm.] What's that....? Well, anyway, Pokémon are Pokémon. [Helpful.] Monsters, wildlife.... Some people around here said there's things called 'animals' that are similar, where they live.
You know what an 'animal' is? Well, Pokémon are that, but smarter and cooler. Like Eevee and Pikachu, there. [He points across the room to where his and Red's Pokémon were hanging out on a table, nibbling on some snacks.]

... but okay, leo gets it! he's ignoring the king comment because right now!! this is so cool!! and they can get to that all later. "pokemon are pokemon" was absolutely the worst, but finishing it up with they're animals is infinitely more valuable to leo's one braincell.

Soooo... D*g*mon! [ no, ] Though they look more cute than cool? Definitely more fluffy than Ag*mon. Not that I mind! Fwuffy and adowable isn't a bad thing!
[ after all, he is truly the Authority On Cool, saying this all in a baby voice and shuffling on over to the edge of his seat to get a closer look at eevee and pikachu. ]

[Even though Ag*mon is totally Charmander, clearly Leo just needs to see Charmander.]
[And Eevee and Pikachu are fluffy and adorable! Blue will never deny that. Blue gets up to cross over to their table... Red must be here somewhere, too, but for now Pikachu and Eevee are all theirs!]
This's my partner, Eevee! [Blue gives his littlest BFF a good ruffle to his furry ears. Eevee cheerfully looks Leo up and down, like he's deciding whether this sucker will be good for attention and food. Pikachu, meanwhile, gives a friendly wave and toddles right up to greet Leo with a 'Pika!'] And Pikachu is Red's partner.... Um, if you see the quiet guy in the red cap, that's my best friend back home.
[Oh... did Blue give his own name yet? Probably not, huh?] I'm Blue, by the way.

Mmm, he's not really an Ag*mon, I think? His name was just Ag*mon, and he's like... orange-ish and dino-like! I haven't looked at him in a while.
[ because leo obviously hasn't watched the movies or the reboot, it's fine. how dangerously can i toe this line.
anyway, approaching the table, leo's focus immediately goes on eevee and pikachu. is he absolutely failing to give his own name in return for blue giving his own? yeah, sorry. they're cute, he's distracted.
leo outstretches a hand tentatively, wondering if he can give pikachu or eevee a little pet on the head? ahh, maybe he'll settle for a wave instead, as he looks up at blue.

Ah, wait... You said Blue and Red! You guys meant to be or something?

does leo tsukinaga mean this seriously, or is this some kind of amused jab as he just goes right back to eevee and pikachu and lifts his hand up again a little. ]

[Blue is certainly picturing a certain Pokémon right now, though it's not what you might think.] --You should see one of the Pokémon, outside. I think Dragonite might be just what you're describing!
[He tried, anyway. It's easy to just forget about whoever else is around when there's a cute Pokémon in your sights, and that's a feeling that any Pokémon trainer can relate to. Pikachu bumps his head right up into Leo's hand cheerfully, and Eevee walks over to peer up and wiggle his ears and tail cutely, begging for pets. Who are you gonna pet first, Leo!!]
Huh? Ah... [Don't worry, Blue's used to that question- his eyes fall a little as he sighs.] Don't joke around............ Our moms were lame, that's all.

but, um, he doesn't have to choose between eevee and pikachu fortunately... he has two hands, you see! so he's definitely petting both simultaneously now that he sees it's okay, as his gaze goes carefully towards blue. why does he look so hit by that? was it 'cause it was a lame joke? like when someone says a bad pun, and you just kinda sigh--

... Y'probably get that all the time, right? Or did I hit somewhere complicated clumsily again...? You said best friends, so I thought-- [ he has the decency to at least sound mildly sheepish at that, but then he just goes more indepth and Makes It Worse. he'll shake his head and cut himself off there. ] Whoops, whoops! I should've focused on just petting these two cuties instead of opening my mouth and saying something cliché, wahaha! Okay, zip it, me!
[ yes, petting intensifies to get away from his social faux-pas. here, here, pikachu, get a scratch under the chin-- and eevee, a little rub behind the ears!! ]
