🥂 HEAVENLY BLANC VOID PARTY 🥂 Who: Everyone! What: Heavenly Blanc mingle and info exchange Where: The Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café When: "August 1"; but really, what is time Content Warnings: N/A Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories. 🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party. 🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal. 🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone: "Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you." "It's nice to see everyone. [If Parsee is without powers and open with Akechi on this topic, there should be no harm in finding out the information from Parsee herself.]

What about you, though? Can you fight? [He doesn't ask about powers, simply because he assumes Akechi doesn't have any. Though, if Bowser thinks about it, the number of people who are supposed to have powers is surprising.]

I'm rather skilled with a sword, and I have easy access to knives in a pinch.

Should it come to it, I'm quite able to fight for the safety of myself and the other people here. Hopefully it won't come to that.

[That last part's a lie. He'd like nothing more than to get into a good, challenging fight to the death.]

[Bowser definitely wasn't worried about Akechi's safety, but it was useful to know he could be helpful in a fight.]

Honestly, I'd prefer a fight to this. If I still had all my abilities, I'd welcome one.

Yes, it would certainly be preferable to the general monotony around here.

[Akechi nods as if to indicate the world as a whole outside, a handful of islands stranded in an endless void.]

What's your take on it? The reason why we're all here, that is.

My take, huh?

[Bowser hadn't spent as much time thinking about why it was them as he did how to get out. But he couldn't deny that the why might be an important piece of that puzzle.]

If I had to guess... there's something powerful. Something that can move from dimension to dimension. Something that wants to create worlds. And that something considers us threats, for some reason, so it shoved us into a completely new world, or the remains of an old, dead one.

Yes... something, or someone, be it god, demon, whatever, [he flicks a hand. The precise name isn't currently important save for ease of speech,] has brought us here, and I find it hard to believe it's only random chance.

What I cannot fathom is what the reasoning behind our selection is. There isn't a single point of commonality that I've been able to find yet.

[Bowser nods, as all of this seems to fit his understanding of things.]

I've been looking for things we've got in common too. I haven't found anything all of us share, but there's a lot of humans here. There's a few robots, yeah, some near-humans and a half-human, and a few things that definitely aren't. Some Pokémon, too. But isn't it weird, how many humans are here, considering that a lot of us are from different dimensions?

Even with that, though, my only guess for why we were all chosen, is that we were all getting close to this thing's trail. That somehow, the way we were going would eventually lead to us finding it before it was ready.

It's extraordinarily strange, [he agrees.] With all the possible permutations the development of life could have taken, it's beyond egotistical for any human to think that "humans" could have evolved independently, so frequently, to be represented in such a way.

[A corner of his lip quirks into a smile.]

Well, if we were on its tail already, perhaps we'll be able to hunt it down. For now, who's to say without more evidence?

One way or another, we're gonna have to hunt it down, unless it decides to show itself on it's own. We're gonna have to beat it, too. [At least, that's what's happened last time Bowser was kidnapped and sent to another dimension. Really, every time Bowser goes somewhere it ends with a final boss fight. Though as certain as he is that a final battle is coming, he's just as certain he'll win.]

But before then, yeah, we need more evidence.
