🥂 HEAVENLY BLANC VOID PARTY 🥂

Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories.

🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party.

🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal.

🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone:

"Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you."

"It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well."

This party was fun and all, but it was getting pretty noisy inside, so Madeline and her reflection had decided to step outside for a while and get some space. Badeline especially seemed to be kind of tense at a large gathering like this, so at least for a while it was probably for the best.

However, the two didn't expect to see someone on top of the cafe's roof. How'd that person even get up there, was there a ladder or something? And... wasn't that the person she and Badeline met at those snowy ruins?

She'd contemplate that more, but she realized she's been staring. Not wanting to be rude, she gathered her composure and nervously waved.

"O-oh... um, hey! We've met before, right?"

[Hornet looks down, tilting her head at the sight of the girl. Ah yes, it's rather hard to forget an... embarrassing first impression like that. She tightens her grip on her needle.]

"Indeed we have. Hiding from the festivities?"

Madeline notices Hornet tightening her grip, and tilts her head. Was something the matter?

"Not hiding, just... taking a break. Big gatherings like this can be overwhelming."

[Hornet considers Madeline for a moment, then lowers herself to sit on the edge of the roof, needle tucked behind her. Very carefully. She doesn't want to lose it a second time.]

"Understandable. I am hardly accustomed to crowds either."

Huh, so that must be why. It would probably suck to get that needle stuck somewhere again, even if it's unlikely to happen here.

"...how'd you get up there, anyway?"

"Climbed."

[She taps her foot against the wall below her. There's more than enough protrusions to use as handholds, what with the ramshackle nature of the architecture.]

"Care to join me?"

The architecture was a lot worse for ware than Madeline had noticed at first glance, honestly she was worried the building might collapse if too many people sat on it. But... that was just her worrying too much, right? She pushed the worry aside and turned to Badeline.

"I'm game! What about you?"

Badeline shrugged. She hoped to have some solace, but it was nice and quiet out here, so one extra person wouldn't be terrible to have as company

"It wouldn't hurt, I guess. I wish I could still just float up there though."

Madeline smiled, gesturing her other self to follow her as she climbed up the side of the cafe. Compared to the mountain, this was a piece of cake.

[Hornet watches, propping her chin up on one hand. When the two of them reach the roof with her, she nods politely and returns to looking across the landscape.]

"The scenery here is odd, don't you think?"

The scenery... It wasn't something Madeline had taken the time to really get a good look at. It definitely was strange, having all these things seemingly smashed together at random, but there was almost some kind of beauty in it.

"It's... different than what I'm used to, I can say that much."
