Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories.

🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party.

🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal.

🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone:

"Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you."

"It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well."

Madeline had decided to hold off on drinking, she didn't really trust herself with the stuff, on top of her not having and kind of identification to really prove she was allowed to have any. It was too much hassle for something she didn't care for enough, so she opted for a cup of coffee instead. She preferred tea, but she wasn't going to be picky, they were lucky something like this was even possible with their current circumstances.

When Parsee had caught her attention, she wasn't really sure how to respond. Was there even someone behind all this, or was everyone simply pulled here for no particular reason? Although either way, Madeline wasn't amused by it.

"Maybe they just didn't like us."

"This would be pretty good torture for some of us wouldn't it?" she said, taking a sip of her drink and wincing. Oh, that was strong. Good. It wasn't going to stop her being envious, but it was kind of easier to deal with being envious when she was toasted.

Marisa'd been right about that.

Glancing over at her, she nodded and raised a toast. that's what people were supposed to do, right? "It keeps trying to do things I think are supposed to be 'nice.' It doesn't seem to know how, though. I'm not sure it doesn't like us." She wasn't sure what 'it' wanted at all.

"Cheers." Madeline replied, clinking her glass against Parsee's and letting out a sigh. If whatever "it" was wanted to be nice, why were they here in the first place? What seemed to be essentially kidnapping seemed pretty counter productive if that was their goal.

"I can't be sure either, but I'd be surprised if this was all happening because of some poorly executed act of kindness." She paused for a moment, taking a sip of her coffee. "I guess it's not all bad though. Everyone seems to be making the best of this."

"They're trying to, yeah." She didn't sound like she was joining them in the effort, but she was always more someone to cope than someone to try and make lemonade out of lemons. She'd just drink the lemon juice and complain about the taste.

"I don't think the place is exactly ... I'm not sure there's really a plan just yet. It sort of feels like it's all very hodge podge so far. It might for a while."

"It seems like it's a melting pot right now, more or less." It was the best conclusion she could draw from this, really; it's just taking pits and pieces from everyone and slamming them together until something sticks. Madeline just hopes that it doesn't go horribly wrong somehow.

"What do you expect to happen next?"

"I'm not actually sure. I'm not really an expert on strange realities like this. Some of it sticks out to me, but most of it doesn't. If I were guessing? Random crap's going to keep getting added to the mix until it almost feels like a 'world' and then... something else will happen." A pause. A thought. A consideration.

"More people might show up first."

Madeline wasn't really sure what she expected for an answer to a question like that. She doubted many people here were used to things like this, so in retrospect it might have been kind of a silly thing to ask.

"I hope not. It would be a shame to rope more people into this mess." She paused for a moment, before a realization dawned upon her. "Do you think there's more people around here we haven't seen yet?!"

It was still a natural enough question. And honestly it would have been weirder if either of them knew about situations like this. That would have said a lot about their experiences before now.

"More than I've seen? Probably. I don't get along with most people, and I live down by a bridge at the river. Not exactly ground central for new people." A shake of her head. "But I'm not sure about everyone else. A few of them are pretty big people persons."

"I'm not particularly outgoing either, but that isn't what I meant." Madeline replied, shifting her gaze towards the window. "This place... whatever it is, I feel like it could be easy for some people to get lost. Or maybe they don't feel comfortable approaching anywhere that seems populated?" She sighed, gulping down what was left of her coffee. Perhaps she was worrying a little too much, but the thought wouldn't leave her alone.

"Sorry if I'm just sorta... rambling."

"You're not wrong. It's possible. Time doesn't work right. There's no day, no night. We don't breathe, don't get hungry, don't get tired, don't drink... someone could be lost at the bottom of that ocean and not know how to get out." There was a bit of a resigned element to the way that she spoke about everything.

"I don't 'think' there's anyone, but at the same time yeah. It's possible."
