Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories.
🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party.
🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal.
🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone:
 "Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you."
"It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well."

It's a game of hand-eye coordination and skill. You start at a predetermined number, like 701, and take turns throwing darts at the numbered spaces. Subtract the number you land on from the running total. The idea is to get exactly zero -- overshooting that goal invalidates the throw. The center is, of course, worth the most points.
[...Is it? He hadn't actually looked at this specific board too closely, because it's Ren's job to keep up with him. Akechi just intends to aim for the bullseye every time, not play number games, and thus, he didn't bother checking to make sure doubles and triples still lined up with a classic board.]
It's at once competitive, and something to be done as a team.

[If... Cole even has one of those. Do spirits have favored hands? The Shadows he'd fought seemed to be fairly consistent with which hand they attacked with, but considering Cole's choice of weaponry, he could be ambidextrous.]

[He doesn't really fully grasp the rules, but Akechi said the center is worth the most points, and more points in a game is better, right? He keeps his head tilted to one side so the brim of his hat doesn't get in the way while he lines up his shot, because why would he even consider taking his hat off.]
[The dark makes this a little more challenging, but he doesn't hesitate to throw as soon as he's settled on his aim. The dart hits the bullseye, just barely inside the small ring, but that's still where it's supposed to go, right?]

(He presses between his eyes on the bridge of his nose, like as if to relieve a headache. Really, Ren will pick up a tray and nail to a tree. Just. No damage to his few options of entertainment. )

Well, as we're currently too many people for a proper team, I think I'd like to see you and Ren go head to head. Let's see if that last throw wasn't just beginner's luck, shall we?
[He gives Ren another smirk as he rests a hand on his hip and gestures toward the dart board. Is he using Cole to stoke Ren's competitiveness? Maybe.]

It's better to begin with a blank board, so he removes the darts and reexplains the math to him, quickly and straightforward so they can play.

[Maybe playing this game will help. People like playing games. He still only absorbs so much of the rules. The math involved sounds complicated. He'll just keep aiming for the middle since that seemed to be good to do.]

(The answer is yes, but still, he knows Akechi is just antagonizing him, using the competitiveness that they both share for a show.
Unfortunately, it's what he gets, because Ren is refusing to lose. The dart on his hand flies to the board, very close to Cole's in the bullseye.)

It's not ideal. On a poor throw, your partner has to pick up the slack.
[And that's part of why Akechi is so fastidious about hitting the bullseye only. Like hell he's going to rely on anyone else.]

At this point, due to Cole's less than ideal score, Ren is more relaxed. The dart is spinning in a loop, between index and middle finger and back to thumb to restart the pattern.
It's with a confident throw that Ren hits a triple twenty.)

Yes. There are cards, usually. Like Wicked Grace. Varric likes that one.
[He hasn't really grasped the rules of that one yet, either. Games are complicated. It's easier to watch and listen.]
