🥂 HEAVENLY BLANC VOID PARTY 🥂 Who: Everyone! What: Heavenly Blanc mingle and info exchange Where: The Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café When: "August 1"; but really, what is time Content Warnings: N/A Maybe you heard through word of mouth, or got an invite from the barista and barkeep directly, or spotted the handwritten paper invites hung up around the area, but there is a gathering happening at the Heavenly Blanc Bar and Café TODAY! So feel free to stop by, hang out, have some drinks, and share some stories. 🍺 DRINKS: Coffee will be served by Ren, and Tifa will be handling the other drinks. There's a wide variety behind the bar, ranging from alcoholic to the non-alcoholic, with delicious cocktails (yes, including virgin ones for the minors) to pick from. And before you ask - no, if you are underage, you may not have alcohol. Tifa will be very strict about it, and anyone who tries to bypass her imposed law will be subject to room temperature tapwater for the rest of the party. 🎲 GAMES: Various boardgames that came along with Le Blanc will be made available for all to play, including a Shogi board for the strategically inclined (and whoever knows how the heck to play it). Along the side wall are two pinball machines, and while they don't light up and make sounds, the mechanisms inside them still work, so they aren't completely out of the picture! Next to them, between the jukebox and the door is a dart board. Please do be mindful when throwing darts, as the light filtering into the bar through the front windows is very minimal. 🤔 INFORMATION EXCHANGE: The important part! When all are gathered inside the bar, Tifa and Ren will make a small announcement for everyone: "Now that we've all had the chance to take a look around and get our bearings, I wanna encourage everyone to exchange what you know, or what you've found. Even share it with the rest of us! Locations, ideas, theories - anything that could be useful in helping us all figure this out. We all come from different worlds, but we're stuck here, so we're in this together until we're not, yeah? Let's make friends and play nice, and most importantly, have fun today! Oh, and if you're coming and going, make sure to close the door nice and tight behind you." "It's nice to see everyone. Since we're stuck here together, let's cooperate well." ☕ OOC NOTES ☕ This is the open mingle post for the Heavenly Blanc void party! Please feel free to top-level and tag around. [He won't, Red, but it's a nice thought. Blue grins brightly as he joins Red though, and watches the other boy enjoy his juice. What an easy to please loser......]

Did you? [Blue seems skeptical, continuing to stroke over Pikachu's head and ears and watching the mouse Pokémon melt under his touch. Good boy.... Eevee seems a little jealous, and huffs over to Red, bumping his head insistently against the other boy's elbow. Fine!! If that's how you wanna play!] Like who? Oh, I guess Ren did tell me he'd come across you already....

But, you know, the point of this [He motions around them] is to meet more people, so...

[Red happily feeds into Eevee's bratty need for attention, lifting his free hand to give the adorable little guy gentle, soothing strokes along his head and ears as well. Now they can all be happy, right?

Just casually ignoring that last part in favor of proudly answering Blue's question—]

Izuku, Raihan, Akechi, and Tifa.

[See, that's five whole people total that he met already! And he even got all their names!!]

[Oh! That is pretty impressive!! Blue smiles, uplifted by Red's demonstration, and leans forward against the table.] Well, that's a good start! Ah-- Izuku....?

[He pauses a moment, trying to remember who that was- he knew he'd heard the name-- oh! The boy in the void, when they first appeared.... who said he had a Zapdos. Blue uneasily wonders if he'd mentioned it to Red.] Good, that kid made it out of things okay.

Okay, so that's a pretty good start, Red! [He reaches a hand over the table to give Red a cheerful pat on the shoulder.] Now you can network through those people, and meet even more! Sound good?

[He is, perhaps, hoping for too much.]

[His heart swells with joy at the praise from Blue, though he's a bit curious about the Izuku comment; did something happen to him?? But before he can ask about that, Blue mentions networking and Red's brain starts to shut down from anxiety. Even the hand on Eevee's head freezes for a moment, body tensing up before he forces himself to resume petting and pretend that he's totally fine.... except his nervous tic of tilting his head downwards to hide his expression under the brim of his cap immediately kicks in.

Well shit. Face flushing a bit in embarrassment, Red simply responds with a soft groan. Yeah, definitely hoping for too much.]

[Aw, jeez. Well Blue should have figured that much would be asking a lot.... He reaches across again to gently tilt Red's cap, trying to peek under to give him another sunny smile. Don't hide from him!!] Okaaaay, okay! We don't have to do anything right away, but......

[He lets his hands drop back down to the table in front of him, arms still outstretched across it to Red's side. It was the kind of childish, casual scene one might expect from a pair of elementary kids; but then, had they ever really moved past that?]

...At least, think about it. Okay? And if people come over to say hi, at least give your name and stuff.

[He worried about Red, sometimes.... If he didn't connect with more people, he wouldn't be able to get help if he was in trouble. And in this place, where no one knew what was gonna happen and they couldn't rely on Pokémon, he needed to know all the people he could!]

At least Pikachu will help you out. Right, little guy? [He gives his cheeks a good rub, since it's safe to do so!] By the way, did you discover anything else while wandering around the mountain? I heard there's some weird stuff in there now, but I didn't wanna venture too far with the darkness. And Pikachu's Flash isn't working...

[Red's blush grows even more as he quickly puts a hand on the brim of his cap, pushing it down as Blue tries to lift it. Peek denied!!]

Yeah, yeah... [He mumbles under his breath. Nope, they sure haven't moved past the elementary school phase.]

Pi-ka~! [The mouse Pokémon chimes in gleefully. Of course he'll help his precious Trainer make more friends! Red really does have the best partner...

He slowly starts to calm down again as Blue changes the subject, though he's not ready to show his face again just yet.]

There's a big marketplace, bathhouse, and laundromat in one of the caves. Most of the stores are empty. [It's pretty fucking weird.]

[Noooo, let him see!! Blue pouts as Red defiantly pushes his hat back down; they could do this all day (and have, frequently), but Blue will behave a little more about it, since they're at this party and all. For now, you know.]

[Letting out a little huff of a breath, Blue keeps petting Pikachu with one hand as he glances back up at Red to listen to what he'd found in the mountain. A merketplace...? That sounded kind of crazy- like some kind of underground city??] D'you think it was there the whole time and we only just noticed it?

[He and Red had done some hiking through the mountains, to see what had changed and stayed the same, but Blue had been nervous about winding too far inward, and hadn't gone for any of the deeper excursions. Clearly, Red had made some progress....] A bathhouse and laundry sounds pretty good, though. I could use a hot bath after all the cold water we've been washing up in! You too, huh?

[Stinky. Blue grins to himself, and scoots his chair a little closer. Let's call it him being his usual annoying self, and not just trying to get closer for the sake of it.] Doesn't sound like it's too useful though apart from that, an empty market....

[He shakes his head firmly at Blue's initial question.] It wasn't.

[Red has explored the lower caves very thoroughly multiple times. That cave definitely used to be empty. He's completely stumped as to how seemingly an entire town could suddenly spawn out of nowhere like that, and inside Mt. Silver of all places.]

Mm... [A hot bath, huh? It does sound pretty nice, honestly, but are the hot water pipes there actually working? Guess there's only one way to find out. Maybe Red will go check it out after the party.

Why is Blue moving closer to him?? Weirdo. Red will lift his face up again now so he can take another sip of his juice.]

Oh, there's some food too. [And more booze, unfortunately, but he'll let Blue discover that on his own.]

Hmmmmm.......

[Blue leans back in his chair as he ponders that, still fidgeting with his feet swinging and kicking under the table.] Does that mean stuff is still popping up, here? Like, new stuff? Maybe the rest of home will pop up here eventually, too.

[Though it would be pretty weird with all the other stuff layered on top! Ah- then it occurs to Blue, thudding back forward in his seat to lean at Red again.] Wait, Red!! Did you tell anyone else here already about that market!? That’s the kind of thing people should know!

....Even if it’s kinda hard to get there, right now. Maybe it’s not safe, but... we should still tell people! [Yes! This was Red’s big chance to have something to talk to people about. You gotta take it, buddy!!]

I guess... [On one hand, Red likes exploring new places and seeing new things, but on the other... is it actually good that new things can keep showing up here? Are the original locations still where they should be?

He's a bit startled by Blue's sudden burst of excitement, leaning back in his seat to maintain some distance between them. Wide-eyed, he shakes his head and stares at Blue as if he's speaking a foreign language. Initiating conversations??? With strangers??? Red has never heard of this concept in his entire life.]

Gramps doesn't think this place is related to home, really, [Blue comments, sensing Red's hesitance and worry on the matter.] He thinks the stuff that shows up here is just like, an illusion, or something. Not the real things.

Makes sense, right? After all, Mt. Silver sure doesn't have a marketplace inside of it!

[Blue laughs off both the casual mention of his gramps-not-gramps and of the weird illusory nature of the place without acknowledging any of it, and instead needles Red a little more on the chattiness.] Hey, don't gimme that Espurr in headlights stare, I'll come with you. Sheesh, you're lucky I'm such a nice guy...
