Inanimate objects with personalities and social preferences. This place just doesn't stop. Let's get this item to the shrine so it's one less drum to be making a fuss.
[Walking in that direction while hoping the drum doesn't somehow attack him from under his arm.]

Dude, they're the story of my life back home. I have to deal with dumb crap like that all the time. Though they usually have human bodies so they're more mobile pains in the butts.
[As the shrine was starting to loom closer, she grunted and glanced over at him.]
So what dumb stuff do they have back home for you? So I have fair warning?

Well- There's these walking cacti that can be found in dry areas, they look like something out of a kid's horror movie.
[He sighs.]
Tons of spiky needles, run faster than chocobos on fire. And I think those things have ended up here as some sort of bear hybrid. So... Heads up on that. Run if you see em, alright? Getting the needles out is a real pain in the ass.

... uh... those things? They're definitely a pain in the neck, alright. I try to avoid most of the aggressive ones when I can. Like those stupid fish.
I have no idea why a fish is a dragon, or why they're so aggressive.
