Well, I don't think that's as hard to understand. Ater all, we're the ones who are here aren't we? It's like seeds in a cloud. We're what the stuff gathers around, so we're what it uses as the mold.

And a person can be 'it.' [She shrugged.] But it does definitely seem to be trying to make us weirdly comfortable, even though it's sometimes doing an awful job of it.

...actually, I think some just want to go home. They could take or leave the question.

If I was constructing a new world, virtual or otherwise.. I certainly wouldn't depend on the input of the amalgamation of people that might come into contact with it. [Of course you wouldn't Kaiba, you're a control freak] It would be too disjointed and chaotic.. like.. this? [Indicating the scenery around them once more] Certain games allow for user input but even it's on a more controllable level set within the confines of the coding..

I want to do both. Why choose one or the other? I want to know what the point of all this was and to make sure someone pays for the inconvenience.

Well, I mean... no shit? You definitely wouldn't make this world the way it's making itself. You'd detail out everything and make sure it played out exactly the way you wanted it. I'm not entirely sure it gets to choose like that.

Heh. I know what a video game is now, so... I think I know what you mean. You get a "Important choice" but you only get Option A, Option B, Option C you had to unlock or the booby prize because you didn't like your choices. Not whatever you want.

I also don't get the feel that they're advertising this to anyone. They're experimenting too much. [She shrugged.] I don't really understand salesmanship that much. It was never my talent.

I doubt it as well, or surely someone would have figured out what was really going on already and put an end to it. [Assuming at least someone out in the real world was smart enough to figure this stuff out. Kaiba had every confidence in his brother's abilities so there was at least one person who could] It's fairly involved. I'll say that much.

In that case, I retract my earlier response, it can do that.

Yeah, I'll admit I know at least one youkai who would be deeply offended that this place existed without her approval and shut this shit down if she had her way.
