1. Spin, Spider, Spin (Merlaut Lobby)
But as always, Novakid don't do well with such unstimulating work, so she softly sings a rather fitting song to herself as she works (swapping the pronouns, as most spiders that make webs are female anyway). But her weird, reverberating, two-voices-at-once voice gives the soft, almost whispered song a strange aura -- otherworldly, perhaps even sinister considering the subject matter if you don't like spiders.
"So let her swing on a silver string, a pleasure to the eyes...."
2. The Oldest Art a Mushroom (outside Heavenly Blanc)
After the mushroom is cut up, she goes back to her bits of mushroom skin, and sets about carefully scraping any bit of actual mushroom from the rock-like substance, then sorting the cleaned skin into different piles: White and... not-white. If this stuff actually is marble or some similar stone, then the color is surely caused by impurities that make them useless for chemistry; but perhaps they can be used for art?
Sitting by her piles, she thoughtfully turns over one particular chunk of colored stone in her hand, a makeshift scraper (and now chisel) in the other.
3. The Courage to Lose Sight of the Shore (Mortis Lake)
With that, her sleeves and pantlegs are rolled up to her elbows and knees, and she starts wading out into the lake. If there's anything to see at the bottom of the lake, better to find it now, before this place remembers that they have to breathe. (What's that? It'll probably be dark at the bottom of the lake? She'll be fine, she is a living light source!)
4. Sam Colt Made Them Equal (Gift Event; Merlaut Lobby)
Indigo is in the Merlaut lobby again, this time sitting on the floor with the various parts of a disassembled toy submachine gun laid out on a towel in front of her. She picks up one piece, rotating it near her 'face' with a thoughtful hum.
"No wonder this thing ain't workin', it don't even have all its parts." But where would the rest of the parts be -- and how would they even fit in where they need to? "And this material's awful flimsy for shootin'." She raps her knuckles against the plastic before laying it down again; she's sure a gun made of this material would either fall apart or even melt if you actually tried to shoot it, and that's ignoring the fact that it doesn't even have a proper barrel. What even is the point of this thing?
