The Root of the Problem

In the last stages of overgrowth, vines grow out from inside Bowser’s shell, with any wounds created by the disease covered either by Bowser’s shell or lab coat. There is only one visible wound, which is on his head. From it grows a vine that coils around Bowser’s horn.

Bowser sits at his usual spot in the Heavenly Blanc, eating red berries and drinking hard liquor, not that it actually makes him drunk. If someone approaches, or sits across from him, he speaks slowly and with a hoarse voice, saying “What do you want? I’m not giving you any kind of confession, so if you’re here for that, get lost.”
