Who: Osomatsu Matsuno and Various What: August Catch-All Where: All around the Void When: August or the equivalent of Content Warnings: N/A, will update as needed
[It wouldn't be the first time he'd ever given someone a similar impression. Kaiba could be on the intimidating side]
Maybe I was being too vague- do you have a name?
[Not that he really cared, but the boy had avoided providing it twice now.]
... Looking for anything that might hold a clue for getting out of here. [Basically. Kneeling down his smoothed his hands over the floor, looking for any portion that might be loose. Still under the assumption that this was a simulation and could be operating on RPG logic he was looking for secret compartments. Finding nothing there he moved to the walls.] I don't need it.
[He watches as the guy pats around for clues, tilting his head.]
What, like a plot item? Or something like that?
[He knows video games too!]
I don't think there's anything here, but....
[He starts looking around as well, and with a hum of curiosity, starts popping the top off all of the cakes, scooping up bites with his hands and eating single bites out of all of 'em just to peer at the insides. This is plot-coupon searching, he swears. Game designers would make a puzzle like this!]
[Waits for the instant recognition. Still waiting. Waiting. Nope. Why does no one in this dump know who he is? His was a name that usually denoted power, it inspired awe in some and intimidation in others. Being back at square one was not something he anticipated nor enjoyed.
So he continued to search instead, not paying the boy much mind.] Exactly. [At least he didn't have to explain everything]
[You know it's not at all surprising when the boy takes this as an excuse to specifically search all of the cakes. Once Kaiba had exhausted his search area he looked back up to where the hole used to be. If he could just get a closer look...] There might not be anything. [He allowed, and honestly suspected but he was desperate to get out of here]
[Jeopardy music. Yeah. There is nothing.] Dramatic name, my dude. [Well, at least he gets that it probably means something! Probably!]
Y'think? It might be more complicated when we imagine, but...I've been trying to find a way back home, too. And even going into the void hasn't helped that.
